"I spent so much time thinking if I should open my heart again. I spent so much time fixing my feelings. And I was able to make up my mind when you came. I'm falling."

I first saw him at Mrs. Gonzalgo's chemistry class. It was first day of second semester and we were classmates. Everything's still fresh. He was late that day. He was wearing a Nirvana shirt with his earphones on. He's physically attractive but he's not an ideal guy for me. He can't even answer in our oral recitation, he's just laughing his ass off to mock Mrs. Gonzalgo. He's really annoying.

How fortunate I am when Mrs. Gonzalgo decided to pair us for a project.

"Ano bang gagawin?" he asked looking like he's interested.

Stupid.

"Ako na bahala sa discussion, ikaw nalang mag research sa first part," I explained.

"'Yon lang? Easy."

Ang yabang.

We decided to meet at the library after lunch kasi 'yon lang naman ang vacant naming dalawa. I thought he'll be late for our first meeting pero hindi naman pala.

He's already at the library when I came.

"Am I late?" tinanggal niya ang kanyang earphones at tiningnan ako ng diretso.

"Slight." tipid niyang sagot.

Akala ko magiging burden siya for me but he's not. He managed to do his part for our project kaya natapos namin 'yon nang maaga.

"Ang boring mo pala kasama." he said while writing his name for attendance. It's been 2 weeks since that project happened. Everything's back to normal.

"Pake ko?" I rolled my eyes on him.

"Wala kang pake," he smirked at me.

"Lunch tayo mamaya, namiss na kitang kasama."

That was the day when I started to feel something weird. Hindi ko alam pero nanlamig ako bigla sa sinabi niya.

Shit.

"I thought 'di ka dadating." he's already waiting at the cafeteria when I came.

"Am I late?" nahihiya kong tanong.

"Slight." tipid niyang sagot.

Deja Vu.

We were just silently eating when he managed to open the conversation.

"May boyfriend ka?"

Halos mabilaukan ako sa naging tanong niya. I just shrugged, not knowing what to say.

"Kung wala pa pwede naman ako."

Damn.

"B-Bakit ikaw?" nauutal kong tanong.

Ngumiti siya.

"Dahil ako si Natoy na mahal na mahal ka."

I know he's just joking when he said that pero tatlong araw akong hindi nakatulog dahil doon.

Putangina mo Natoy.
