After making it through a gruelling battle to reach the area, everyone had gotten out, however battered and bruised.
Puff Squeaked as he tried to clean Y/n's face, however she pushed him away, "I don't think that's very sanitary bud..."
Luigi coughed up sand as Mario dusted off his cap, Rabbid Luigi was just trying to chase some butterflies that had somehow gotten here.
"Alright everyone..." Beep-o sighed, "let's get moving again..." Y/n groaned, everyone was not in good condition at all, "I think we should go back to peach's castle," Mario stated.
The h/c haired woman nodded, "I couldn't agree more!" Puff voiced his opinion and Luigi agreed too.
Beep-o huffed angrily, "fine! I suppose we should head back and heal up..." they all teleported to the castle to see many rabbids around.
All of them speaking about many random things, Rabbid Peach welcomed them back, "oh hi guys!"
"Hello!" Rabbid Luigi chirped, the two of them quickly went off to do their own thing as Y/n was left with the Mario bros.
"I think I'm going to speak to peach," Luigi said, his brother nodded. "I'm coming too, joining us Y/n?"
The alchemist shook her head, "no I'm gonna have sometime to myself for a bit." The brothers quickly ran off and Y/n sighed heavily as she sat down on the grass.
Puff looked at her in concern, "I'm alright," she mumbled, sensing the dragon's worry, "I...I just feel very homesick..."
The dragon prodded her, trying to get her to say more. Y/n laughed at him, "I didn't ask for this to happen," she sighed, "maybe it was fate for me to be here? But maybe...it's all the rabbids fault."
Puff growled as he jumped off her shoulder and onto her lap, "yeah I know, but I can't blame them after all they've done." Y/n whispered, turning her head towards their Rabbid friends who had been fighting alongside them.
Y/n put her hands on her head and whimpered quietly, Puff nuzzled up to her and made sad noises.
"I just want to go home..."
No one luckily had heard Y/N's crying, she quickly go ahold of herself and the group continued their adventure.
After going through the portal, Y/n immediately caught on that something was watching them. And of course that was Bowser jr.
Luigi quickly ran in fear, along with his Rabbid version. Mario luckily dodged the clown cart, however the child Dino knocked over both Luigi's and Spun Y/n around.
