The gang arrived to the newly opened gate, Rabbid peach could be heard nervously chattering her teeth.
Y/n followed Mario into the new area and saw the large field, a few Rabbid scarecrows placed around.
Puff whimpered as he flew up into the sky to get a better look at the area, he made a few chirps at Y/n as he landed on her arm.
"Apparently it's just a lot of field," Y/n stated as she looked at Beep-o suddenly footsteps could be heard approaching them.
Y/n was quick to pull out her staff, however it was only Toadette with a box balancing on her head.
"Oh, #%$*@- not again!" Beep-0 cursed as he saw her. She gave them all a smile and a wave.
"Guys- guys! You won't believe what happened!" Toadette yelled.
Mario raised a brow at her, "let me guess, you got separated from Toad again?" Y/n couldn't help but snort.
"Nope!" Toadette smiled, "we were playing hide and seek, THEN we got lost!"
Rabbid Peach groaned loudly, Y/n flicked her ears with a finger. "This place used to be good for that kind of stuff..." Toadette muttered.
The h/c haired woman looked around with a raised brow, how could this place be good for hide and seek?
Then again the mushroom kingdom did become pretty damaged...
"You know, we are hero's," Beep-o informed, "it's not like we have quests and things."
"Oh I don't wanna be a bother," Toadette shifted her feet across the ground with sad eyes, "but can I at least tag along and find him myself?"
Mario and Y/n looked at each other with uncertainty, Rabbid Peach on the other hand was basically pleading to not have Toadette around.
"If you help me I'll give you what ever is in this box!" Toadette stated with a smile. Y/n raised a brow at her.
"And how do we know it's not something bad, like a smelly old shoe brush?" She questioned. The pink spotted toad shrugged.
Mario sighed heavily as he began leading the way once again, everyone begrudgingly followed him with Toadette happily chatting away.
Y/n hummed quietly to herself as Puff joined in on her small tune. Rabbid peach was busy grumbling to herself as Mario and peach talked.
