Peter, Harley and Tony were all seated in the common room.

Peter laid on a soft looking bean bag, wrapped in blankets, he was frantically scribbling on a piece of paper.

Harley was eating a blueberry muffin, rather sloppily. He was also radically scribbling something down, it looked as though it was a prototype for some sort of super-powered Iron-man arm.

And Tony, the man himself was busy staring at the coffee table situated infront of the group, who were all in their respective places around it.

"Stupid, arrogant, alien.." Tony muttered insults, progressively getting louder and louder until one of the teens in the room interrupted.

"What's got you so riled up, old man?" Harley questioned, not glancing upward to face Tony, but acknowledging his muttering.

Peter looked up at Tony, he finally noticed the man's murmering as soon as Harley pointed it out. He patiently waited for an answer.

"Thors left us a present" He aggressively responded, gesturing to a large hammer that was placed ontop of some seemingly important files.

"I can't get my papers" He added, more tired sounding.

"What's wrong with ya' these days? Can't even lift up a stupid hammer? Ya' can't be that old.." Harley finished his insulting sentence looking up to the ceiling as if in thought, though it was simply to mock the tired man he was referring to.

"Mr. Stark, I know you're tired, but can't you just move the hammer out of the way? Seriously, it can't be that much trouble" Peter finally spoke, siding with Harley.

It was then that Tony realized that in all the time he's spent with the teenagers, he just never got around to telling them about Mjölnir, and what it means to lift it.

His tired expression was replaced by a sly smirk, the tension in the room noticeably shifted.

"Well why don't you guys try to lift it then?" He added, with a pointed tone, and challenging expression, probably to set the teenagers off. It worked wonders.

"Oh yeah? All this over a stupid hammer? Lemme do it for ya' old man, since you'd break your back trying.." He trailed off as he got up from where he was seated, and made his way over to the hammer.

Tony's smirk morphed into a cheeky smile that reached his eyes as Harley placed his hands around the handle.

"Watch and learn, maybe next time you won't induce child labor" Harley sarcastically commented while tugging on the hammer.

Peter watched intensly, his gut was telling him that something strange was going on, and he had come to rely on and trust in it greatly.

"What? What the hell?!" Harley's teasing expression transformed into one of confusion, he pulled and pulled, yet the hammer didn't even budge!

Tony let out chuckles, poorly hidden by coughs behind his palm.

Even Peter despite his suspicions, let out soft snickers at Harley's attempts to pull the hammer off of the table.

"I thought you worked out Harls" He giggled as Harley glared at him with beads of sweat forming on his forehead. Maybe it was just a really unhumanly heavy hammer? In a world where sorcerers, giant green titans and purple aliens exist, it wouldn't be impossible.

"Well, Mister super strong spider, why dont'cha give it a go yourself?" Harley aggressively challenged Peter.

Peter didn't hesitate to accept.

"Alright, just you wait," He smirked at Harley, who just stuck his tongue out at him in reply.

Peter got up, his blankets falling to the floor. He confidently walked over to the hammer, determined to figure out why he had such a strange feeling about it, and also to lift it and prove Tony and Harley wrong.

He placed his hands on the handle.

Tony glanced at him, but couldn't bring himself to look away, his gut was giving him a strange feeling, and he wasn't about to miss any drama.

Harley smirked at Peter, as he walked past him to sit back down.

Peter's joking expression formed into one of determination, and he used every ounce of strength in his body to lift that hammer.

Apparently, he overestimated how much strength it would take to lift it, because the hammer went flying upwards and downwards and took him down with it.

But he didn't falter and immediately got up, clutching the hammer that was way too light in his hands to make fun of Harley.

"I guess I AM Mister super strong spider!" He grinned ear to ear.

Harley made an irritated noise "Of course you lifted it, why couldn't I have gotten bit by a spider" he whined childishly, knowing very well he would rather anything than be bit by a radioactive spider.

The teens had friendly banter, all the while Tony was sitting absolutely flabbergasted in his arm-chair.

Slowly, the teens noticed the man's utter lack of movement and grew concerned.

The feeling in Peter's gut that had vanished when he lifted the hammer was back.

And it was back ten times stronger because the look in Tony's eyes was one to be worried about.

Minutes passed, the group stared wordlessly at each other, one in shock and the other two in confusion and concern.

Suddenly, Tony blinked, scaring the two teens.

"Well, it seems that I, have an alien to make fun of and an Asgard to be claimed by my offspring" He finished in an whisper, barely tugging at the air around it not even Peter with enhanced senses heard him. He didn't look away from Peter and Harley.

He then picked up his coffee by the handle, his pinky finger raised up perfectly straight. And he took a long, long sip with much slurping. Still maintaining eye contact with the boys.

Harley and Peter were extremely unsettled. But they decided to overlook this as sleep deprived behavior.

After a while, everything went back to normal, the boys again began their frantic writing and Tony got to overlook his files.

The teenagers fell asleep a few hours later.

"Hey Fri honey, did you get that hammer shit on camera?" He questioned to the ceiling.

"Yes boss, I've added it to your file full of videos of Peter climbing walls"

"Excellent" The glanced at the two boys, and then to Peter, his Mischievous grin beginning to grow wider.

He was definitely going to give Thor an existential crisis.
