It Matters

Natsu's POV

After I told Lucy everything, she is just looking down without saying anything.

"I'm really sorry Luce if I only said these things to you. I just don't want to see you cry again, because you are my very best—" I didn't get to finish my sentence because she suddenly jumps at me and hug me in my neck. I was startled because I don't expect her to react like this. I was expecting a slap or something.

"Luce?" I said tapping her shoulders

"Thank you Natsu. Thank you for telling me the truth. Don't worry I'm not mad at you." She said tightening her grip on my neck.

"Luc—e!!!" I said tapping continuously her arms

"Ah! Sorry! Natsu! Congrats again! I wish you and Lisanna happiness. Don't let her go okay, she's my precious cousin so take care of her alright? Don't make her cry, or else you are going to taste my fist." She said showing her fist to me. I am really happy that Lucy is not mad at me and she is happy for me and Lisanna.

"Lucy?" I said in monotone

"What is it?" she said

"Don't you hate Gray?" I asked

"Huh? What kind of question is that? Of course not! That was in the past and I don't even remember it right? So how can I get to hate him?" She said and put up a bright smile on her face

"You're really a nice person Luce." I said and smile at her "Uh...One more thing...since Gray is here in Japan, uh...do you want me to set you two up?" I said taking a lot of courage to say such thing

"eeehh?! Why?" she said in surprised

"Because he is your first love right? Don't you have that....uh...spark or feelings when you saw him again?"

"What are you talking about Natsu?" she said and punch my arm lightly

"Nothing. Forget what I've said." I said waving both of my hands. I guess she doesn't want to talk about it.

"You're weird."

"I'm not."

"Yeah you are."

"I'm not."

"Hahahahaha....." she laughs but suddenly faded and she became sad all of a sudden

"Luce, what's wrong?"

"Natsu since you are the only person I give all my trust. I'm going to tell you why I cried during my last performance yesterday."

"As I thought you do have a problem. Okay I will listen." I said. Sometimes I can't predict what Lucy is thinking

"You see I have this guy I like for a long time." I knew it she does likes someone! But I am still curious who it is.

"I know everything about him. I love watching him smile, laugh, angry, pissed, and every side of him. He is my first love Natsu, not Gray. Maybe during our childhood that was just some

puppy

love but this is true. He always makes me smile, laugh, and he always makes my heart race." Lucy said not looking at me but instead to the sakura tree. I don't know this feeling but I feel a torn inside my chest

"But...he won't like me how I like him. He just considers me as his friend."

"How did you say that? Did you confess to him already?" I asked
