FLOCH. he had been my #1 crush ever since we were little, we were basically childhood friends. I've liked him for years now, and i still have no idea how i haven't moved on yet. I'm not very close with him though, i mean we used to be but it doesn't last forever. we just drifted apart. we are still friends though, just not the closest. My closest and bestest friend i have right now though, is Jean kirstein.
The melody of the music coming from my headphones filled my ears as i was putting my books into my locker. I heard muffled sounds of someone calling out my name, but i ignored it since i thought i was imagining things again. The sudden touch on my shoulder startled me. I turned my head around as fast as a lightning, ready to fight whoever was touching me. I thought it was a random person, until i saw who it was.
my face relaxed as i sighed, it was just jean. "my gosh jean! you scared me!" i lifted the headphones from my head and put them around my neck. "i called for you so many times! you kept on ignoring me. What else can i do to get your attention? idiot. you always put the volume up to 100, you'll eventually go deaf, y/n. i'm not even kidding!" i rolled my eyes. Who cares? blasting ur earphones with music is the best thing. "okay i'm sorry, what did you want to speak to me about?" i said crossing my arms, waiting for a response.
"you're not going to like this, but look!" he quickly pulled up his phone as he played a video of Floch kissing a girl at a party. My heart ached. i didn't know he had a girlfriend.. i really do have 0% chance now huh. "you seriously have 0%. just stop crushing on that redhead. there are better guys out there you know! the single guys! not the taken ones. you're wasting your time trying to get his attention, idiot."
i stayed quiet. i can't just give up on him yet, even if he did kiss her, that doesn't mean he's hers right? i probably look stupid right now but i just can't imagine myself liking someone else. I'm sure he's the guy. i'm sure of it. I'm going to try again, and if he really shows no interest in me, i'll just accept that he doesn't like me back. "No, i'm still going to try, jean." he facepalmed himself as a response. "the hell are you going to do to make himself like you? confess? i don't think you would even have the balls to do so! he clearly has no interest on you dude! just give up." that is true, what am i going to do? i thought about it for a while, thinking hard.
