After two consecutive days of operations, Nicolae leaves the clinic, ostensibly to rest. Of course, this isn't necessary at all, because he doesn't get tired, nor does he need sleep or food. But, as we said, he has to behave normally so that people don't get the impression that he's not one of them.

I'm not sure if he was human and not an angel with perfect reflexes, and if he didn't have such a super awesome car, if he had managed to stop the car in time to avoid colliding with the pedestrian, who is probably so startled that loses consciousness and falls onto the road.
