As Bia has many suitors including T'Challa's newest ally, K'uk'ulkan, who is better known as Namor to his enemies.

Bia is the daughter of Bast, or Bastet, is a psychopomp goddess and Ennead worshiped in Wakanda and Ancient Egypt, and a former high-ranking warrior from Jabari Tribe, M'Bani. Due to her Ennead lineage, Bia was born with powers.
Bia grew up in Jabari Land, where she learned about the Golden City's use of Vibranium and its mainstream lifestyle from her mother in secret from her father. Eventually, Bia opens up her own nursery and garden store.
Bia often speaks to her mother since her mother is the goddess of cats, she can possess any living cat as a host, and speak easily to communicate with her, but also through dreams. Bia has a black Panther named Ra, which her mother uses as a host.
Bia has two best friends, M'Balia and M'Deara, who know her true identity as Bast's daughter as they swore to Bast to protect Bia. She is also very good friends with M'Baku, who calls her his annoying little sister. She has an older brother, Maahes, the God of war, who is very overprotective of her and chases away suitors by posing as her pet mountain lion named Mio.
Bia is able to access the Ancestral Plane and Omnipotence City. She is also able to grow the Heart-Shaped Herb with Nature Manipulation and Nature/Earth Magic. Bia tends to be solitary in nature and sleep a lot. She is a night owl and like staying up late and sleeping in.
Bia is usually friendly and outgoing, and more than happy to help those in need, provided their goals are just. She is cunning, intelligent, very curious, and impulsive. Bia is an introvert but once you earn her trust she is an amazing friend. Once you get to know her she starts to come out of her shell and can be sarcastic, a bit vindictive, very protective, funny, just generally cool and really playful.
Bia is a natural midwife as she often helps women in the tribe by inducing their labor. She knows everyone's secrets and is very good at keeping secrets. Bia is great at the Arts. Bia is very fertile as her mother is a fertility goddess so she refrains from having sex since protection doesn't work for her.
Bia is naturally very good when it comes to weapons and warfare. She has enhanced abilities similar to those of a cat including enhanced speed, agility & flexibility, sight, hearing, etc. She has the ability to talk to and control cats and animals that are in the cat family. Bia can plan complex battle plans and strategies as her mother is the goddess of warfare. She can see in the dark. She can tell the gender of an unborn child.
Bia can create an awful smell to scare off enemies or seduce people as her mother is the goddess of perfume. Bia can sing songs that cause different things, such as peace or arguments, depending on what the song is.
When Erik Killmonger was killed by T'Challa during their final battle, Bia revived and transformed Erik into a cat and brought him to Jabrai Tribe where he guards her garden.
