I quickly turned around and walked to the kitchen where I drank a glass of water to calm my nerves.
Suddenly I feel a warm embrace from behind me. He pulled me closer to him until not even air could pass between us.
Liam: Jessica.
Me: Liam I...
Liam: you can't run away from this forever
He was whispering in my ear so softly and I just felt myself weakening. All my denial shields were down and it just me and the guy I'm slowly falling for.
Me: let me go
Liam: do you really want that?
Me: yes.
He let go of me and the emptiness was back. He walked out and I feel like my heart followed him. I followed him a few minutes later to find him sitting on the couch with his eyes closed. I sat next to him and put my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer.
Me: this is a bad idea Liam
Liam: why
Me: Tina
Liam: just forget about your friend for a second and just listen to what your heart is saying.
Me: your brothers will never accept me.
Liam: screw them
I sighed and buried myself in his embrace. He kissed my forehead and I felt my heart flutter. Being with him felt so right. I can't believe I felt peaceful in the arms of a man who once kidnapped me.
Me: Liam I have to go now
Liam: why
Me: my parents don't know where I am and I need to change into my clothes
Liam; but you look cute in these.
I gave him the "really" looks and he just laughed.
Liam: Feisty girl.
I rolled my eyes
Liam: how do you even do that
Me: do what
Liam: rolling your eyes
Me: well it's actually quite easy when you don't have lazy eyes like yours.
Liam: lazy eyes?
Me: yes.
Liam: and that's a bad thing?
Me: first time I met you I thought you were high
He creased his forehead in confusion and I just laughed at him.
Me: don't worry I like your eyes just the way they are. They're sexy
He chuckled and finally let me go.
He followed me to the door and we walked out and into his car
Liam: so does this officially make you my girl?
I nodded and he flashed his shiny smile.
Liam: this also means I get a kiss right.
Me: in due time.
I kissed his forehead and we drove home.
Me: bye.
Liam: see you later feisty girl.
I waved and he blew me a kiss before driving off
