I moaned tiredly and stretched, opening my eyes slowly as the light streamed in through the blinds.

Soft snoring was heard behind me and I looked back to see Stiles still sleeping. His arm draped across my waist as his other was under my head.

I smiled softly and closed my eyes again, only to be woken up by Stiles's concerned shout.

"Parker?" Stiles looked at me, grabbing onto the covers and lifting them up, sighing and placing them back down. "Our clothes are still on. That's good. That's really good."

"What?" I placed an elbow under my head.

Stiles dragged his hands down his face. "Oh man, I was so drunk last night."

"So....you don't remember?"

He chuckled a little. "No. I remember everything. Well. Mostly everything. My brain just shut off after we kissed."

"And...? Did you...not like kissing me?" I asked him.

He finally turned his head to look at me. "I liked it, Parker. But I was drunk, so I was a little out of it last night."

"Oh."

"People do stupid things when they're drunk. Besides. It's not like this could actually work out, or happen." Stiles answered. "Right?"

"Y-yeah. Yeah....you're right." I nodded, getting out of the bed and looking at him. "I'm, um, I'm going to get ready for school."

I shut the bathroom door and leaned against the door, letting out a shaky breath and rubbing a hand over my face, wiping away the tears.

I exited the bathroom five minutes later, after having composed myself and gotten ready for the day.

"Hey. everything okay, kid?" Noah Stilinski asked when I walked out of his son's room while Stiles went into the bathroom.

    I shrugged. "I'm fine."

"Hey," he placed a hand on my shoulder and turned me to him. "you're obviously not okay. Tell me what's wrong."

"Don't you have work?" I asked him.

"It can wait," he answered in a gentle voice. "Tell me."

I shook my head. "Not here."

His face fell even further. "Did my son hurt you?"

"Not physically..." I answered in a quiet voice.

    "I'll talk with him—"

"No. Please don't. Please." I said.

He looked at me for a moment longer, then nodded. "Okay, kid."

    "Thank you."

He smiled a little at me before pulling me in for a hug, his hand stroking my hair as I set my head against his chest.

"Do you need a ride to school?" he asked me.

I shook my head. "I'll call Allison and see if she can pick me up..."

"Okay. Want me to stay with you until then?" he asked me.

"No. I'll be fine here. I don't want to keep you from your work. Thanks, though."

He nodded and patted my shoulder. "Anytime, kiddo."

I walked up the steps of the high school with Lydia and Allison, listening to the two of them talk.

"You really don't remember anything?" Allison asked.
