I stood up from the bench as Melissa and Scott came out of the room, Stiles coming out of the room as well, spying me.

I walked over to him. "Hey. What happened in there? Was it bad?"

"Mmh. It wasn't pleasant." he shook his head.

Melissa sighed and looked at her son. "It's not just this, although, a restraining order is a new low that I didn't think that you would reach quite this soon. It's everything on top of it—the completely bizarre behavior, the late nights coming home, having to beg Mr. Harris for you to make up that chemistry test you missed..."

Scott looked surprised. "I missed a chemistry test?"

"Really, Scott? Really? I have to ground you. I am grounding you. You are grounded."

"What about work?" Scott asked.

"Fine. Other than work. And no TV."

"My TV's broken."

"Then no computer."

"I need the computer for school."

"Then no, uh...No Stiles."

Stiles looked absolutely shocked by that. "What? No Stiles?"

"No Stiles! And no more car privileges. Give me your keys. Give 'em to me!" she grabbed the key ring from her son and tried to get the car keys off. "Oh, for the love of God..."

"Mom, you want me to—"

"No."

"Mom, come on, let me just—Mom. Mom!"

Melissa finally gave up and looked at Scott. "What is going on with you? Is this about Allison?"

"Do you really wanna know?" he asked.

"Yeah! Is this about your father? It is, isn't it?" she sighed, "Okay, you know what, um... We'll talk about this at home. I'm gonna go get the car."

Scott sighed and walked over to us. "I'm the worst son, ever."

Stiles nodded in agreement. "Well, I'm not exactly winning any prizes, either..."

Scott looked at me and sighed wearily. "Congratulations, Parker. You are officially the favorite child of both my mom and the sheriff..."

From inside the room, I heard raised voices. Damnit! You give him a restraining order, and he's mocking you! He was, mo—"And, what do I do about going to the bathroom?" What the hell was that?!" Jackson's dad said.

I stood by one fo the shelves, leaning against it as I read a book about myths and their origins as Scott and Stiles came up to me. "Hey."

"Hey. Is Allison here?" Scott asked.

    "Yeah."

"Great." Scott moved in front of me and pushed aside a few books, finding Allison on the other side with a tablet.

She handed it to them, where the screen held translations of the Kanima from the Beastiary. "It's everything Lydia can translate...and trust me, she was very confused."

"Yeah, what'd you tell her?" Scott asked.

Allison smiled, amused. "That we were part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures."

"I am part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures..." Stiles said earnestly.

    "O-oh. Great."
