It had been 8pm when we finished playing basketball in the court. The sun had already set, and the night was gradually taking over. We were exhausted from the game, but we still had the energy to laugh and joke with each other.

After placing all of the basketballs in the store, we started to walk to the dorms. The air was still warm, but the night had a chill that was refreshing. We talked and joked around while we walked, not wanting the night to end.

When we arrived at the dorms, we said our goodbyes and parted ways, exhausted but satisfied from the day.

"Oh Estelle," I called out.

Estelle turned back and looked at me. "Yes?"

She asked, her eyes twinkling in the moonlight as the moon shone brightly above us from the glass.

We both smiled at each other, and I couldn't help but admire Estelle's beauty as the moonlight illuminated her features. She was so pretty and I couldn't take my eyes off her.

I wanted to tell her how beautiful she looked, but I was too embarrassed and shy to say it out loud.

Instead, I said this, suddenly thinking about the squirrel. "You said you wanted to see Romeo this afternoon."

"Yes, I did," Estelle replied, her gaze still on me. "But I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow. We both need to rest for tomorrow."

"No, you don't need to wait until tomorrow," I said. "You can see Romeo now, if you'd like."

"Are you sure he won't wreck your whole room if he wakes up?" She asked, her eyes widening with surprise. "I mean, squirrels can be quite mischievous at times."

"Don't worry," I replied. "He's a nice little guy. I'm sure he'll be fine."

Estelle smiled and agreed, and we started walking to my dorm room, which was only for me. We talked and laughed along the way, and I kept admiring her beauty in the moonlight.

When we arrived at my room, I opened the door and ushered Estelle in.

Estelle's eyes widened as she stepped into my room, taking in the size of the space.

"Wow, this is a lot bigger than I expected," She whispered, her voice filled with awe. "You must have a lot of space for yourself."

I smiled. "It's definitely more than enough for me. I'm glad you like it."

I carefully opened the cage door and peered inside. Romeo was fast asleep in a nest of hay, his little head tucked under a wing.

I reached in and gently stroked his head, and he stirred a bit.

He blinked a few times and looked up at me with his bright, beady eyes. I could tell he was still a bit sleepy, but he seemed content to be out of his cage and exploring. I smiled and nodded at Estelle, and she smiled back.

We both knew that it was time for Romeo to have some fun.

Romeo's eyes then caught the sight of Estelle and his face lit up with joy. He hopped out of my bed and quickly scurried over to her, chirping and squeaking with delight.

Estelle held out her hand and let him climb onto her palm, and he happily nuzzled against her fingers. She laughed and said, "It's nice to meet you again, Romeo!"

Even in his sleepy state, he seemed to recognize her presence and was delighted to be reunited with her again.

Estelle smiled and brought him up to her chest, gently cradling him in her arms. He snuggled up close to her, and she chuckled as he started to doze off in her embrace.
