"Love is a strong word, are you sure it's love?" I ask

"Monet do I have to make a whole billboard saying I love you." She says

"Maybe." I say looking round

"I'm not it's just you tried to play me like a book I gave you so many chances." I say

"Look I promise this is me finalising how I feel and this what I have been trying to express." She says

"But my bestfriend wants you." I say

"But I don't want her I want you." She says

"Mhm." I say

"You have to believe me." She says

"In the end it's always us wether we try and run from it it's always us it will always be you like the whole club thing we always found each other in the end so you can't tell me those where coincidences ." She says

"Your this close to convincing me." I say

"Like I Said I will always choose you." She says

I stand there there confused,lost and silent.

"Say something please." She says

"What do you want me to say?" I ask

"That you feel the same way." She says

"Shuri your really smart but really dumb you know." I say tilting my head smiling

"Why are you smiling?" She asks

"Because your the smartest person in this whole universe and you still can't tell I like you to?" I ask

"Your shit at emotions." I say laughing

"That isn't funny." She says

"It is." I say

"I hate you." She says

"But you just said you love me so." I say

"Let me have my moment." She says

"I love you but you and your smart mouth causes me to much wahala." She says

"Me I cause you wahala." I say shocked

"You know I'm right." She says

"No your not." I say

"yes I am." She says

"No your not." I say says

"Point proven." She says

"Nope it hasn't be proven." I say

"Why is no one ever here when you cause me problems." She says jokingly

"What if I was suicidal what if that was my last straw." I say

"Go home I'm coming back later to pick you up." She says

"Your chasing me away so soon." I say

She kisses her teeth before attempting to kiss me before I swerve it

"Remember I cause you to much wahala." I say shrugging my shoulders

"Remember I bought you that car." She says shrugging her shoulders

"Oh did you? And didn't remember." I say

"I will see you later my love." She says

I get into the car and start driving of before realising everything that had happened I really hadn't fully realised because I was in the moment.

I get back home opening the door feeling the disappointment I felt before wash away like it was never there.

"Monet how was it?" Chrystal asks

"fill us in." Irvina says

"Ok so the whole dinner thing was a flop but then Shuri just admitted she's in love with me and obviously it was a cute confession and I like her back so she's coming to get me later I don't know when but I'll probably just chill for a bit." I say like it wasn't that shocking

"Your saying this so chill as if the queen of Wakanda and the black panther didn't just confess she's loves you." Irvnia says

"I don't see her as all that she was my best friend she was practically everywhere with me before I left and it's not like before I felt like it was one sided and now it just feels different." I say

"What about Ayesha?" Daria asks

"I know you don't want to speak on it but look it's not going to disappear overnight if you just ignore it and I'm no defending Ayesha in any way shape or form it's just that you think your giving yourself closure if you ignore it." She says

"I'll deal with Ayesha later." I say

"You say that but you won't Monet." Daria says

"Look yeah it's not that I don't love Ayesha but what she done was wrong she done everything for me and I will always remember that but let's remember she lied to and even if she done something that wrong she could have be honest and yes Shuri was part of whatever happened but at-least she was honest with me." I say

"Yeah but at the end of everything we all knew it would be you and Shuri not her Ayesha and her." Irvina adds

"Yeah but you never know what could happen." I say

"Look we have all been rooting for you and Shuri not you and Xavier not her and Ayesha."  Chrystal adds

"I'll talk to her later." I say

They all give me a look which said are you sure and don't lie to us

"Can y'all stop looking at me like that I promise." I say

"Ok so when y'all get married what's the colour palate and where will it be and who's invited and-" they all say taking turns before I cut them off

"And I think y'all should chill." I say

"I love y'all but she hasn't even asked me to be her girlfriend be so foreal right now." I say

"Ok then." Daria says looking at Irvina

I Watch Irvina look at Chrystal

"Nah y'all are planning something and I don't like this." I say shaking my head

"Oh well." They say

"Now go change your Outfit enough chilling." Irvnia says pushing me towards my room

"Mean." I say

"You will thank us later." She says
