loosen up

I closed off my computer shut and laid in my bed.

I just finished watching the new movie that came out earlier this year

After so many years , avatar 2 had been released

The only thing that was left on my mind after watching the movie was neteyam, not just his fate but also his entirety of his life in general

I thought profoundly about what could have been;his childhood, how much pressure he had as the eldest sully son, how his future as a leader was stolen from him and how he was the cause of the negative impact on the rest of the sully family

Each thought cut me deep and I wouldn't be lying if I said I wasn't genuinely fond of him

If I had the opportunity to go into his universe to prevent that from happening, I would go in a heartbeat

Sighing heavily , I slipped out of my bed sheets and went to my drawer of to find a bathing suit I could use for swimming. I usually wore speedos when no one was around because it's more comfortable to swim in, personally of course. I was on my high schools swim team after all, even made it on varsity as a freshman.

So I was okay at swimming, I really enjoy it enough to do it outside of practice and such

What best way to clear you're mind than to go for a late night swim, at least make the giant pool in the backyard to use.

I slipped into my speedo and grabbed a towel and a cover-up shawl to put over myself and headed downstairs to the patio.

It was late at night, maybe around 12am and I knew the whole house was sound asleep so I was careful not to wake anyone up.

I slid as quiet as I could to the outdoor patio and closed the sliding doors gently and tiptoed across the pool to the many pool chairs laying around.

I took off my cover up and set my stuff on the chair. It was not as chilly as I expected it to be since it's the middle of December but it's Florida so I shouldn't have set my standards high.

I stepped in the pool and took a leap to the front and began swimming, peering over the edge of the pool, I sought any form of distraction and hoped the reflection of the moon could provide just that.

I made myself float so I could see the full moon shining upon me tonight, it was so beautiful the way it glowed in all this darkness. I wish I could be as beautiful as the moon.

The luminescent glow of the moon made a dark silhouette upon the surface of the water, but something else in the water caught my eye.

The water began to shine on the moonlight, I assumed it was normal since it was a reflection to it so I continued my swim.

I took a deep breath of air and submerged into the water, something about submerging yourself and feeling the water around you was something so calming. I always try and see how long I can hold my breath underwater

30...40....45 seconds seemed like an eternity, I couldn't hold my breath any longer, I quickly headed up for the surface.

How long have I been swimming? Is it already morning?

I could feel the sun shine bright beneath my eye lids, I tried to regain my breath that I lost underwater

When I opened my eyes I was immediately shocked by the sudden change of setting, I'm not sure how but I wasn't in my backyard anymore

No, this was much bigger, much deeper and more blue than my pool

I definitely could tell I was in some ocean, nothing like I've seen before. I was more freaked out than mesmerized
