Tsireya was eager to wake me up at the crack of dawn once more, today we were going to teach the Sullys how to breathe underwater properly

Not sure why she insisted on being there early, im not much of a morning person like she is. Especially because I lost sleep from last night

We all sat in a circle by the shore, practicing breathing techniques

"Breathe in.. and breathe out"

Tsireya instructed while me and Rotxo demonstrated, Aonung had hunting duties today so he wouldn't be joining us. The group of Omaticaya followed their lead, taking in deep breaths before breathing out again slowly

"Imagine a flickering flame"

Tsireya said as she held up a hand while her other hand was placed over her heart

"You must slow your heart beat"

Tsireya placed a hand on Lo'aks abdomen and the other on his chest when she had seen him struggle. Lo'aks eyes widened and so did mine, seeing this in person was way better than on screen. I looked over to see if Neteyam and Rotxo had noticed

They had, just like I figured they would. Only difference is that Neteyam looked over at me rather than Rotxo.

"Breathe in, breathe from down here"

Tsireya had told Lo'ak who had grown nervous around her touch , she applied pressure to his stomach

"Lo'ak your heart beat is fast"

Tsireya said, Neteyam turning his eyes away from me and on to Tsireya and Lo'ak

"Sorry"

Lo'ak said as he looked away from her

"Try to focus"

She implied

"Okay"

I tried concealing my laughter but failed, I mean who wouldn't? This was priceless to watch. I looked over at Neteyam who caught me snickering and he also joined me as we silently laughed.

Soon Rotxo noticed we were laughing and joined in as well.

I enjoyed this part of the movie, mostly because it was only Neteyam and Rotxo who shared glances.

Makes me know that Rotxo chooses no sides and likes people for who they are and doesn't really care what they are

Me and Tsireya decided to walk down where the gatherers are to grab some quick food for dinner, Ronal told us we were in charge on making food tonight. I just hope she knows I'm not the best cook, as always I'll be relying on Tsireya to do the work

On the way there , I couldn't stop thinking about what Neteyam told me that night at the beach. It upset me that he thought I was being helpful just for an act.

I can't blame him though, him and his family are constantly getting attacked, they can't seem to catch a break. I'd feel uneasy too if I were him

"So.. care to tell me what's on your mind?"

Tsireya cut me off my thinking as I turned around to look at her

"Hm? Oh! Sorry.. just thinking on what ideas we could make for dinner"

I said completely lying hoping that Tsireya wouldn't catch that. She did unfortunately as she raised an eyebrow in denial
