"Let's go"

Neteyam told his siblings as he led them away from the group of metkayina. I stood there wondering what I was supposed to do, let this play out or try and intervene. I had no time to act before Aonung and his group walked up next to me as I watched the sully kids leave

"Look at them"

Aonung said to me loudly making sure the forest Navi could hear as well

"All freaks. The whole family. Why are you even friends with those kids?"

Aonung said taunting the sully boys as the rest of the metkayina group laughed with him. I saw Lo'ak turn around in disbelief of what he heard.

"You're unbelievable, it wouldn't kill you to be nice you know"

I said angrily to Aonung, his smile immediately vanished and faded into a frowned one, his eyes stared at me like I should have regretted what I said

"For the longest, I thought you were one of us, but you keep being around those freaks. You're just like them Naya— a freak!"

Aonung taunted as the rest of the metkayina group laughed at me, never in my life have I felt so much anger like I have now. I guess Aonungs words meant nothing at all back when he apologized for before, it disappointed me that I thought he was a good person

"Hey! Look let's not bother Naya, she's not the freak. We are, right?" Lo'ak interrupted, the rest of the Metkayina group left their focus on me and on to him.

"I know this hand is funny"

Lo'ak said as Aonung watched him with a mocking smile

"Look- I'm a freak. Alien"

He said as he showed him his pinky while the Metkayina boys laughed, I hid my smile as I watched with great interest to what was about to go down— forgetting all my emotions seconds ago

"But it can do something really cool"

Lo'ak told Aonung we all the metkayina watched. Everyone seemed to think that he would show them a magic trick— boy were they wrong.

"Watch" Lo'ak told them as he used his other hand to dramatically fold his fingers down to form a fist

"First, I ball it up real tight like this"

He paused to make sure that they were all with him. Aonung stood and watched his hand— waiting for the trick, quickly — Lo'ak's fist collided with the side of Aonungs face. After two more punches, the metkayina was sent flying onto his back. Blood was trickling down Aonungs face as his friends helped him back onto his feet.

"It's called a punch, bitch!"

Lo'ak said as he watched Aonung struggling to his feet

"Don't ever touch my sister again! And leave Naya alone!"

I was left astonished, Lo'ak not only did it for Kiri but somehow heard what Aonung was telling me— and defended me too. As soon as Aonung was steady on his feet again, he snarled and charged at Lo'ak— knocking right into him and causing both of them to fall back into the shallow waters. Aonung landed on top of him, but Lo'ak was quick to flip them over and land another punch to his face.

Two other boys hurried forward and pulled on Lo'ak's tail. Trying to get him off of him. It was four against one- the fight was not very fair.

I wanted more than anything to punch Aonung, but I knew I couldn't and I restrained myself not too. I glanced over at Neteyam as he already was looking at me, he saw the plead in my eyes as he knew what I was going to tell him
