Everyone thinks that Sherlock always sends perfectly punctuated, perfectly spelled text messages, but in actuality, he thinks it's much more efficient to use as few letters as possible, so long as his meaning can still be conveyed. Unfortunately, other people aren't as quick as he is, so when he sends texts like, "ll b n lag 4 2 nts @ 1s," no gets it then he becomes even more convinced that he's surrounded by idiots.
