Sasuke turned to lock the door to his old house. I was going to miss this place. We were both facing the door and already missing the moments we spent inside.

I was just about to turn around when I felt arms around my waist, only they weren't the familiar strong arms of Sasuke. Sasuke faced me and his eyes grew. I looked down to see the gloved hands of a medical nin and that awful smell of disinfectant and medicine. I started to struggle and kick but the medic only held me tighter.

"Let me go!" I screamed.

"We didn't check you out and leaving the hospital without the doctor OK is dangerous!" The medical nin yelled over my screaming.

"I'm fine! Honest! Just let me go!" I looked at Sasuke for help but he was in the same predicament as I was. There was a strong looking Jhonin holding him with spiked silver hair and his head band covering his left eye.

"Who the hell are you?! You have no right to be here! These are Uchiha grounds!" He yelled as the Jhonin and the medical nin carried us in separate directions. I towards the hospital and Sasuke towards the academy.

"Sasuke!" I kicked and pulled at the medic's arms and tried to get to him.

"I'm fine! I'll come visit you!"

He yelled as he faded out of sight. We were out of the Uchiha residence and on our way to the hospital. I went limp in the medical nin's arms. My strength drained from struggling.

We got there and I was transported to the emergency room. They did a full assessment of my wounds and did a few stitches on the cut on my cheek. A few hours later I was released from the hospital.

I absentmindedly walked towards the training grounds and lied down in the soft grass. Spring was finally here and I looked up to the clear blue sky. Not a single cloud in sight. The warm sun beat down on my face and the rest of my body.

I'd made some minor alterations to Sasuke's shirt this morning before we left the house. I'd cut it just below my boobs and added some fishnet on my exposed torso. Then I put on his moms black skin tight shorts and pulled my hair back so there was one long silver ponytail going down my back.

I lied there wondering what Sasuke was doing right now when I heard a familiar hyper active voice.

"Hitagi!" Naruto yelled as he ran over to me, picked me up and spun me around.

"I'm happy that your feeling better." He said as he put me down.

I smiled and ran a hand through my bangs. "Hey Naruto?" I asked. He looked at me with a questioning look on his face. "Yeah?"  A smile crept onto my face as I got into the fighting stance.  "Wanna help me train?" He nodded and without warning i charged at him and caught him by surprise. We sparred until dusk and we both collapsed out of exhaustion.

I looked at him, his chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath and tiny beads of sweat on his forehead. I rolled over and lie my head on his chest. He put his arm around my torso like the old days and we stayed to watch the sun go down. The only thing that was different was that Sasuke was popping in and out of my head and this time last month I wouldn't have thought of him at all. Actually now he was probably looking for me. I got up and helped Naruto up as well.

"I've gotta go. Sasuke's probably looking all over for me." I said as I rubbed the back of my head. Naruto's eye quirked. "When did you two get so cozy?" He asked as he started walking me home. "I-I don't know. Something just happened. Something in me just clicked I guess." It was true. I had no clue what happened to us. I don't think that even if I wanted to I could harbour as much hate for him as I used to.

It was dark and the stars glittered above Naruto and I as we made our way back to my house. It wasn't long before we were looking at each other not knowing what to say. A lot of things had changed and now that Sasuke played a role in my life it felt like Naruto and I were growing more and more apart. I pulled Naruto into a hug and he buried his face into my shoulder. His arms fastened around my waist, refusing to let go. "Naruto...." I whispered feeling like I was about to cry. How long had it been since we stood and hugged each other for a while or even sparred like we did. I missed my best friend and I needed him more then I thought I did.

Naruto was the first to pull away and he looked at me for a second before placing a kiss on my forehead. He put his hand on my cheek and walked away.

What was that? I thought to myself as I touched the spot on my forehead and shut the door.

Just as I was about to walk away I heard a soft knock on the door. I couldn't help the fact that a smile was tugging on my lips already knowing who it was. I checked the time before answering. 8:30pm. I opened the door to see a worried Sasuke standing in front of me. I let him in and closed the door behind him but he didn't go further then the door mat. "Sasuke?" I asked, slowly approaching him. "I'm so sorry." He looked at me, his eyes wide with regret. "For what?" I asked hugging him. He tensed at the contact but relaxed into my arms shortly after, hugging me back. "I couldn't stop them from taking you from me." He said. He wouldn't look me in the eyes and I could tell he was holding back tears. I also knew he would never let them fall either. He hated crying in front of people and for him to have cried in front of me more then he's ever cried in his life must be hard on him.       "Hey it's OK. I'm fine. They only gave me a couple stitches." I said as I pointed to the thin pink line on my cheek. He traced the line with his thumb and softly kissed it afterwards. Then kissed me again in the exact same spot Naruto had. "Who was that Jhonin anyway?" I asked as I led us to my bedroom. I wanted him to stay here tonight. He smiled to himself when he saw where I was leading us to.        "His name's Kakashi Hatake. Our new sensei." I stopped for a second. "Our?" He nodded. "While we were gone the out together the squads. Ours is you, me, Sakura and Naruto. Our sensei is Kakashi. We'll have to meet him tomorrow officially at noon." I let all of this process through my head for a moment. With out Sakura, our team would be the most successful. Maybe that's why they put her with us, to even things out a little.        He grabbed my hand and led us the rest of the way. "Let's just sleep on it and everything will be fine tomorrow. Trust me." He said as he tenderly kissed my lips. But I couldn't shake the feeling in my gut as I cuddled into him, his warm body fitting into mine, that some how I knew that everything was going to be the exact opposite of fine tomorrow.     ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------     Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy guys!
