Now they know Newt is being submissive, and now they know he's a giant fool that followed Alby into the change room, just to shove him into Thomas' locker. He's going to be the worst omega ever.

Newt is lying on bed, scrolling on his phone. His knees are pulled up to his stomach and his tail is tucked around his legs, trying to keep him warm. The blanket is pulled up to his neck and tucked in nicely around him, keeping him cozy.

Newt opens Snapchat. He actually has quite a few people on there, but nobody ever messages him. He mostly uses the app just to watch people's stories. He swipes to the story section and sees that somebody posted something new. Newt clicks on it and his face goes pale.

He watches as a video plays of two alphas fighting aggressively.

Thomas and Alby.

He restarts the video and turns up his volume, watching the two brawl. Students were cheering and chanting, both packs growled aggressively as the alphas fought. It looked to be taken place right outside of the school. The person recording laughs and chants as well, not being on any particular team.

Newt watches as their eyes both turn red. They both punch and shove each other, wrestling and trying to get one another to fall onto the ground and submit. It's not long until Thomas' claws come out and he scratches down Alby's arm. It's quick to start oozing blood. Newt is surprised neither of them turned into their wolf form, though it was clear Thomas was going to if the fight lasted any longer.

He turns off his phone angrily and plugs it in before placing it onto his nightstand and curling up even tighter, letting the fight replay in his head. Who won? It didn't have the full fight, maybe one of them had to go to the hospital. What if one of them died? Alphas are rough and born to kill. Millions of questions swarm the blondes head, but his main question being why?

Why did Alby and Thomas fight? Did it have something to do with him? Maybe that's why Thomas was asking who did it. But why would an alpha care about what happened to Newt? Especially Thomas! He hates his guts.

Thomas should be thanking Alby for shoving Newt into his locker. It's as if he was gifted a beautiful meal for him to devour.

Everything's just been so confusing to Newt. Nothing makes sense anymore. Nothing! Absolutely nothing.

If Newt did cause the fight, would he be in danger for school tomorrow?

Don't be so selfish Newt, not everything is about you. They were probably fighting over stupid alpha things....

Anxiety overcomes the boy and he tries thinking about other things. Eventually he's able to think about happy things, such as walks through the forest and the warmth of a bonfire; helping him drift off into a deep, safe slumber.

Newt walks to his locker, following his everyday routine of grabbing binders and such from his locker. So far no one's acknowledged Newt's existence. Gally wasn't even at his locker. Maybe today will be a good day.

His tail wags ever so slightly as he pictures a day where nobody teased him. That would be a great day in Newt's eyes.

He closes his locker and starts heading to his first class. It's not long until he passes some students and they start growling at him. Newt tilts his head slightly but keeps walking.

The walk to class consisted of glances from strangers and growls from angry pack members belonging to Alby.

Newt arrives to class and sits down in his regular spot. Suddenly a very strong flowery scent fills his nose. He turns his head, next to him is a girl. Newt's nose scrunches up and he can't help but let the fur on his ears rise. Her name is Teresa, she's part of Thomas' pack and she's been trying to become his mate for the longest time.

Despite being a beta, she buys omega like scents to try to attract him, but of course it doesn't work; Thomas hates omegas. Omegas often release sweet pheromones when they go into heat, calling for alphas to come mate with them. Nowadays it isn't effective due to alphas not wanting an omega as their mate, so Teresa is incredibly bad at attracting her leader.

Besides her awfully strong smell, Newt's never liked Teresa. She's to eager to find her mate and she's rude in general.

"Calm down, I just want to talk to you," she says with a fake smile. Newt eyes her carefully, unsure of what her intentions are.

The teacher walks into the classroom. Teresa has class with him, but she usually sits as far away as she can from Newt. Instead of her getting up, she sits down properly and starts taking out all her stuff, clearly not moving away.

"Why?" He asks softly, waiting for the teacher to begin class.

"You're the talk of the school Newton," she chuckles and pulls out her notes. Newt physically cringes as she calls him by his full name.

The class starts but the two carry on their conversation, whispering so the teacher doesn't hear them. "What do you mean?" Newt asks while copying down notes off the whiteboard.

"Didn't you hear about the fight?"

Newt drops his pencil onto his sheet and freezes in place. The fight was about him, he was right.

"I mean, I saw a video but I don't know what it was about," Newt replies quietly. He gulps and starts writing notes again, trying to catch up.

At this point his tail is curled around him securely and his ears are twitching as he waits to hear more information.

She just laughs quietly and Newt glares at her. Teresa stops and lets out a sigh. She pulls her fluffy brown tail onto her lap and with one hand, she plays with the fur and with the other, she writes notes.

"Thomas wasn't very pleased with finding you in his locker," she almost growls at Newt as she becomes more serious.

"He was even less impressed when he figured out who locked you in there," Teresa glares daggers at Newt, jealous that this small omega is getting all the attention.

"So what? He fought Alby because he hates my bloody guts and didn't want me to contaminate all of his shit in his locker?" Newt raises his voice slightly, causing students to glance at him, but the teacher doesn't notice.

Who is Thomas to fight another Alpha just because he hates Newt? That just makes zero sense.

Theresa gives Newt the are you dumb look before continuing.

"He fought Alby because he felt bad for you Newt."
