Veronica's POV

When i felt that someone pushed me i lost my balance and fell on the floor. I couldn't stop my self from falling because my hand was already injured. I looked up to see who it was.

??: Do you wanna die??

"From where she came?" I thought.

"Get out mini!" I said and started getting up.

"Stop it before i kill you!!" she warned her best friend Veronica.

Mini is The only person who knows almost everything about her. You can say she is the only person because of whom Veronica is still alive. Mini is a lawyer and they are together since a very long time. Veronica has so many times helped mini financially before. She gave her own saved money for helping mini.

Veronica sat on the floor quietly.
"Now what happened. Tell me?" Mini asked angrily.
Veronica looked at her while slowly crying "I am not worth of anything min....i-i am just worthless, i am.......just.....just.. useless"......choked on her saliva.

Mini sat infront of her. "Who said that?" Asked calmly and worriedly
"I am just nothing. I should have not even born mini...i am a burden" said crying so hard. Mini slowly hugged her and a tears escaped from mini's eyes. She was not able to see her Bestfriend like that. Mini looked at Veronica's hand and signed to her guards to call doctor.

"Let's go home" mini said softly.
"No!! I-i have to do work" Veronica said while crying very hard and scared. "Alright take your things and come with me" mini said trying to stay calm.
"No.... I'll go to my house" Veronica said. mini took deep breath and said "you are coming to my house without any question. Understood? " Mini said with angry voice and Veronica stopped questioning.

At mini's house

Doctor has arrived and Veronica is on bed. He treated her wound. And now talking to mini.

Doctor: doesn't she take care of her mental health?

Mini: actually she has so much pressure.....

Doctor: okay, but she need rest. I don't think she take rest. She is over working ig. Stop her.

Mini: um...yeah. well doctor can you give her something which can make her sleep?

Doctor: umm...ok.

He injected Veronica and left.

Mini started to talk Veronica

Mini: i don't know what happened but he must said something very wrong. (Takes deep breath)

I told you not to care about what he says. Din't i??

Veronica: he slapped me. (said while looking down)

Mini: (looks shocked then takes deep breath. She sat on the bed)
And what your family did?

Veronica: mom tried to stop him.

Mini: tried? When will they protect you from that greedy demon?
That day when he will kill you?

Veronica: he is my dad! Don't speak like this.

Mini: does he behave like one?
Veronica was out of words.

Mini: litsen carefully avoid going to that house. Do whatever you want. Live your life. Okay?
You are precious to me Nica. Just stay happy... atleast for me. She smiles.

They talked for a bit and then Veronica asleep. Because of injection.

??: May i come in mam?
She looked outside and it was her PR agent. "Come in" he took a seat. "Did you watch my interview?" She asked. "Um...yes mam. And i am sorry for those sudden two questions. I talked to there company they have warned both the reporters. He said
"You are fired" she said and sips her tea. What?....mam i am sorry i will not repeat trust me..." he could not complete and y/n said "don't waste both of our time. Go apply in some nice company." She said "mam please give me last chance" he begged. "Get out, I'll write nice things in your character certificate or whatever it is. Now leave" she said and he left sadly.
