Veronica's POV

"Why aren't you eating anything Mr Warner?"
I asked one of my invester, my father was sitting beside me, Axel was standing beside our sofa and those 3 main investers were sitting in front, shaking in fear."

"W-Why did you call us?"
Warner asked coming on the point

"Well, you know our company's situation right, and our inversters also ran away."
I said 'ran away' while looking deep inside their eyes.

"Look Ms Melville we work with Verlice company and you are no one to force us to get back to you, i think you should sell you company before it's rate get more low, i hope you don't have to sell it on the rate of scrap ."
Mr Rivera spoke with confidence, once this man couldn't even speak in front of me now he is abusing my company.

"Well, i know what is the situation of my company, don't tell me."
I said coldly

"And why did you think i called you for forcing you to get back in my company?"
I asked confused, they were more confused then me, my father and Axel too. But they
stayed silent

"T-then why did you. . ."
Rivera was scared this time, he must be thinking now what bomb i am gonna blast on him, i like that fear in his eyes.

"Come on can't i call you to meet?, i missed you, we last met 2-3 months ago, that's it."
i told them showing how much i missed them but each human in the room knows that it was the lie, a big lie.
This was making those 3 investors shaking in fear. i ate a fruit and after 1 minute silent i spoke again.

"You know dad, we are so good friends."
She told her dad, he was showing fake shocked expressions

"Yeah, we know very 'Deep secrets' about us."
She told them giving speacial pressure on 'Deep secrets'
All three investor's eyes widened up. They knows what she was talking about.

"Veronica! If you know about us so we also know about yo-"
Mr Rivera said confidently

"Forget about mine, mine is already public, think about your Mr investor."
She told them in sweet voice. They knew they are already in her trap.

"Come on, don't get scared, it's not like i will open up your secrets in the public or send them to the media, even if i am having evidence of your 'dirty secrets'."
She told them but it was absolutely not what she means.
She looked toward her with wide eyes, she will send each detail of tehir secret to every social media platforms

"Y-You said that you deleted them!"
Mr. Johansson asked not believing.

"Oh, did i?, i think i forgot to delete that. well, why does this matters?
I'll always be a good friend, 'Until' you stay my good friend."
She warned then in different words that they totally understood.
They gulped hard and looked at eachother like they were deciding something.

"W-we don't care, we are leaving, Mr Verlice have promised us that they will protect us from you, so don't fucking thread us, understood?"
They finally spoke. She looked toward each of them

"You really think that?"
Scott asked chuckling

"Give me a minute."
He again said and walked out, after some minutes he came back.

"Now call you boss, and ask him if he will help you."
Scott sad confidently

They looked scared, their face turned white.
Mr Rivera gathered his left confidence and called Verlice. His confident face faded away.

"Anything happened Mr Rivera?"
scott asked in sweet voice. None of them spoke back, other two understood what Mr Verlice answered, but why? He said they will never let them go to her and he will protect them from Veronica.

"Should we send the evidence to media?"
Scott asked

"S-so sorry Ms Melville. We will do anything you want."
They said while looking at their thighs. Melville's Smirked.

She asked Scott and he chuckled, they were having dinner, all of them were on the table.

"You don't need to think about that i have my own way."
He told her straight. She couldn't ask further,

"I think this will help us and we will again get back to our place, don't we?"
She told him existedly.

"For now worry about your health, and finish that juice."
Her mother told her and nodded

"Don't you think that was dirty way of taking them back?"
Axel asked father and daughter and they looked unbothered, opening someone's dirty secrets for your good is not right to axel, this was what happened to Veronica too, so he hates it now.

"Bro this is buisness, we can't survive if we don't play games, here, everything is about money."
Veronica told him, she doesn't want him to feel guilty not how they blackmaled the inversters

"And mainly they deserve that."
Scott told him and Axel nodded.

"I have seen this happened many times in company."
Elvin said sipping the water.

All of them kept on eating, they were about to finish their happy family dinner when an question arise from Veronica's side.
