Veronica's Pov

"Wow look honey now our youngest characterless daughter will tell us how to be 'good' parents where she herself couldn't be a nice daughter. You know what Veronica i have never seen  more arrogant girl then you in my life, i am keeping you because that's is my work, other wise i would never give a damn to a girl like you, if anyone ask then actually i am really regretting that day when you came to my home, when i made a decision to brought-"
My dad said bitterly like a rap. Like he learnt everything before, it was like he is saying this from his heart, he was finding a day to say them.
But later he stopped when he was about to put up that talk of taking her home not giving her birth.
I was looking deep in his eyes with sadness, he looked on other way when he noticed that he was about to accidentally say the truth of my adoption.
I looked down and then again looked up.

"I'll handle everything, their will be no problem till morning"
I said and left with that while listening my dad saying

"The person who is the manufacturer of problems is saying that she will finish all problems."
He said and i heard everything, but he doesn't care. I know what i have done but i.....i am also hurt.
It is really really hurting. More then any other thing.
I turned back

"And for the last time i am saying dad, whatever i have done was past. That day a boy non other then Neil, Neil Verlice he forcefully kissed me. And I pushed him. He planned everything to ruin us.
I am not wrong dad, yes i did mistakes but i changed myself later. I wanted to leave my past and move on but it is following me. And moreover i am alone to fight with them. Trust me i hate myself more then you. I know you hate me, i know i am just burden but what can I do. I tried to be better but...it is not happening. What do I do dad. She was speaking hoping for another chance

"Then why don't you?"
He said without thinking

She asked not believing her ears, she is just a adopted child in his eyes so why will he love her? Why will he understand her? He will understand his real childrens obviously.

"Get lost Veronica just go!"
He said and she left emotionless

"Dad don't you think that was too much?"

"Nothing was too much she deserves this."
Mom said and Axel was a bit done with them

"I am Not talking about that, i am talking about when you said you are regretted a-adopting her? What was that?"
He asked confused

"I didn't say that."
His father said it ignoring the eye contact

"Yeah but you were about to say that."
"What suddenly happened to you huh? You are not that person whom i saw years ago when you brought her home. You were happiest human in the world, i even though that you were more happy seeing her then us. That hurted dad and then now when i see you behaving so weird with her so i doubt, is that the same person who used carry that little girl in his arm even before opening his eyes properly in the morning. Do you really regret it?"
He said asking that question where he was just looking at him while thinking something

"You saw me only how i behave, but you never saw how she behaved?"
Their dad asked saving himself

"I saw both of you. I know she started behaving like a spoiled kid but from some past weeks she changed. Agreeing for marriage was her decision, participating in that games to marry that guy was her decision, i barely see her painting something, what happened to her dad! I don't feel like she is living for herself it's like so weird, don't you think that?"
