He was angry because he needed those reports. They are ready to start production with her brother's group, the only thing is incomplete is those reports.
Ariana was Smirking because she knew that what happens when Scott is angry. Their were plenty more people was Smirking like the women who breifly told her dad about her free painting place making idea.

He said angrily

He bursted on her while other smirked
Their all members of DD and her other brother Axel and yes DD's manager Mr. hensler all of them were attending the meeting.

I said simply

"This was Ariana's work"
I said, Ariana's eyes widened up.
