Author's POV
"Please Nika, come back. Please...."
Elvin begged her on his knees he joined his hands. He was looking so broken.
"Elvin?"
He heard his mother's voice who came out of bathroom
"M-mom."
He said between his sobs he got up and ran to her he hugged her tightly.
"We lost it mom, i am sorry i c-could not protect her mom, we lost her..."
He was not in his senses. It looked like he lost everything.
"Elvin, calm down please."
His mother told him getting so confused
"No mom it was my mistake, total my mistake, please punish me, how am I supposed to live without her, how!?"
He asked confused, he had no idea how will he survive without her. He want her. Now specially after knowing she will never come back he want her more.
"Elvin! Calm down! Please!'"
His mom yelled on him.
"Elvin, listen-"
mini called him because he was getting too much out of his senses. But cutted her off
"Please tell me where is she, i mean....her....her
b-body."
He said, it was hard for them to hear him, he didn't wanted to say that 'body' word.
"How will Axel and dad react when they know the truth."
He spoke between his sob. He was not letting any of us speak.
"Elvin."
He heard Veronica calling his name he looked toward her with red watery eyes.
"Y-you heard that?"
Elvin asked his mom, she was not understanding what he was saying.
"Elvin,. . . i am fine. . . don't cry."
veronika told him
"Now no one will hurt you, because you went so far away f-from us."
He said, he tried hold her hand he was sure he will not be able to hold her but he noticed...
..he could touch her
"D-did you see that, i-i can touch her!"
he almost yelled he was crying
"Elvin! We all can see and touch her because she us alive!"
His mother yelled
Elvin was confused he looked toward Veronica from his mother who nodded to him, he saw his sister there was tears in them
"Y-you-"
He couldn't speak more
He wanted be sure first. His hand travelled to her arm, then forearm, then shoulder, then her cheeks. He felt her breath on his hand too.
"Yes Elvin, i am fit and fine."
She said slowly he listened to what she said, in his mind on repeat, there was silence for some moment he processing everything, then finally walked forward to hug her.
It was bone crashing hug, Veronica was weak but she let him do it for some seconds.
He was holding her like someone will steal her the moment he pull back. Their no space in between them for even air. He didn't want to let her go, not only for now, he never gonna let her go.
"Elvin! She is weak."
His mom came, and told him to pull back, he didn't wanted to but he had to break the hug.
He couldn't form a sentence, he even forgot his name, he was on cloud nine.
Veronica smiled at him softly.
"Veronica come sit, you shouldn't stand for long."
Their mom said and she nodded, she was stumbling while walking. She had bullets in her leg, in heart and should and just now he almost crushed her bones.
He felt guilty
"N-Nika i am sorry to hug you that hard, is it hurting should I call doctor?"
He asked panicking
"No. . .i am f-fine."
She told him softly. She couldn't speak much she was so weak to even speak, just like new born baby.
He was continuously looking at her, like she was some beautiful view, he didn't want to let her away from his sight. He was not stopping. He finally got happy tears.
"What?"
Veronica asked in low voice
"I am just so happy, you don't know what i am feeling right now, you just have no idea." He told her, he didn't know how to explain what he is feeling now.
Words were not enough to express what he was feeling. He was ready to forget everything, he just want to watch her.
"Are you okay?"
She asked him
He nodded happily, his happy tears were rolling down continuously.
"Now....i am."
He answered while looking down wiping his tear away. His mom patted his back happily, he hugged her with his full strength that he wanted to use on Veronica while hugging.
They finally pulled back. And his mother questioned him.
"Well, why were you saying all those things Elvin?"
He remembered slowly what happened before.
Then his eyes stopped on mini who was sneakingly walking of the room.
