Everyone's eyes popped out
"Ariana shut you mouth"
Veronica's dad said angrily. But suddenly Nervousness came over his face. Everyone was checking Veronica's reaction who was typing on her mobile.
"I-ignore her Veronica....s-she is just...."
Ariana's mom spoke.
"I know her habits of making stories dad"
Veronica said normally putting her phone aside after messaging Neil and eating her food.
"I think you guys should leave"
Veronica's dad told Ariana's family and they left feeling guilty for their daughter's behaviour.
Now only Melville family was their with an awkward silence.
They were looking at Veronica time to time.
Their was only Veronica who was eating calmly, other people were just watching each other and mainly Veronica again and again.
Elvin was looking at Veronica and started eating again when Veronica noticed him. Axel and other diverted their eyes back to food when she noticed them looking at her. She was confused about the situation.
"F-food is good" Axel said
And everyone nodded
"H-how is everything.. Veronica?"
Her mom asked
Veronica knitted her brows in confusion but answered.
"Fine mom, i think you asked me this already, the moment i arrive here."
Veronica said totally confused
"O-ohh y-yes uh y-you know i am getting old so just maybe i forgot " her mother answered nervously. Her Father was also behaving a bit weird.
"Take care of yourself mom"
She said a bit concern and looked at both of them
Other two was not looking up from their food. Because they don't want to have any conversation.
Thinking for sometime then Veronica came on decision to ask them what happened to them suddenly.
"Why are you all nervous?"
She asked coming straight to the point
All of them looked at eachother. And started laughing nervously.
"What are you saying, why will we nervous?" Axel said. Confidently and other nodded with him.
"I- "
before she could speak her phone started buzzing which was showing Neil's number.
"I need to go now. Thankyou for dinner "
She said coldly
"Okay fine" her mother answered smiling widely.
She turned to leave but she stopped on her place and turned back to them again as she wanted to double check .
"Are you guys really fine?"
"Yeah. What can happen "
Her father answered with that angry irritating daily voice by which she trusted that they are fine.
"Okay. Good nightt then."
They bid bye to eachother and other 4 members sat back on the chair while taking a very deep breath.
"This Ariana!"
Their father yelled
"Calm down honey" their mom calmed him
"Seriously mom what if that Ariana spoke the whole truth?"
Axel said.
"I literally forgot that Veronica is not-"
Elvin said sadly
"Don't complete that line!" Everyone said in union
