❀ ʙᴇɪɴɢ ᴀ ʜᴜɴᴛᴇʀ ᴡᴀꜱ ꜱᴏ ʏᴇꜱᴛᴇʀᴅᴀʏ ❀ (ʜxʜ x ꜰ!ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ)

ᴄʜᴀᴘ 6 -ᴀ ꜱʜᴇᴇᴘ ᴀɴᴅ ᴀ ᴄᴀᴛ-

The Kirikos dropped us in Zaban City and the son of the family was leading us towards the exam. Gon was looking around at everything amazed while me Kurapika and Leorio were just following after the guy. 

Eventually the others noticed and Leorio said, "What do you think you're doing Gon?! Let's go!" Gon looked up at the man and went, "Right!" Before running back over to the group.

"Hey Y/n!" Gon said once we started walking again. I glanced over at the boy to see him holding out a grilled chicken skewer to me. "You want one?" He asked me which I quickly nodded at and Gon then handed it to me.

We both chomped down on our skewers while following after the group.

"Here we are. I'm pretty sure that's the building." The Kiriko/man said as he pointed at a building in front of us.

I swallowed the last bit of my skewer before throwing the stick into a nearby trashcan.

I bet you're wondering what happened to that baby sheep right? Well, nothing that you don't already know. It was still sitting on my head and surprisingly no one had taken notice to it. I had thought about letting it back out into the wild but there is not really any forest here in this city. I also figured out it was a girl.

I saw Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio walk over to this huge building while I was focused on a little restaurant next to it.

'Ah man, I was hoping it would be that place. I'm still hungry.'

The trio starting talking about how they we're ready for the exam and the building looks amazing and stuff like that until the Kiriko guy spoke up, ""Hey guys! This is it!" He said, standing right in front of the restaurant that I was looking at.

'Yes!'

I walked over to the guy while Leorio started to do his complaining thing again.

'Bla bla bla, I'm hungry hurry up.'

We all walked inside and I was met with a really yummy smell. I looked around the place with a happy aura around me while we walked up to the counter.

"Welcome take a seat!" The man at the counter said to us, not looking up from his cooking. "Is the back room available?" The Kiriko dude asked which made the guy at the counter glance up at us. "What are you having?" He asked the Kiriko. "The steak combo please? The one that will make us see the light. Make it four." He said with a grin which caused the guy a the counter's expression to grow stiff. "Combo for four eh? How do you want 'em cooked?" He asked, almost glaring at us. "Grilled slowly over a low flame till done please." 

I perked up next to the Kiriko man and said, "Can you add some grilled chicken nuggets? Also a carrot stick please" I asked the man behind the counter who smiled at me. "Of course, I just made some. You four may see yourselves to the back room."

We walked through the restaurant, heading towards the backroom and as I passed by the counter the man handed me a foam bowl of grilled chicken and a carrot stick.

I thanked him and quickly followed after the others until we arrived in a room with a table and four chairs.

"Wait here." The Kiriko guy explained to us but of course, Leorio had to start complaining again, "For what? Where are all the other applicants?"

"I can't wait for that steak combo!" Gon said excitedly, "Yea me too." I answered the boy which made him smile brightly at me.

"Y/n, Gon, that was just the password to get us inside, there's no steak combo." Kurapika explained to us which I oh'ed at and Gon looked kinda sad, "Ok, so we don't get to eat?" He asked which I quickly nodded to.
