❀ ʙᴇɪɴɢ ᴀ ʜᴜɴᴛᴇʀ ᴡᴀꜱ ꜱᴏ ʏᴇꜱᴛᴇʀᴅᴀʏ ❀ (ʜxʜ x ꜰ!ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ)

ᴄʜᴀᴘ 10 -ᴇɢɢ ʜᴜɴᴛɪɴɢ-

I played with the baby sheep while I waited for the others to come back with some dead pigs. I was sitting on the grass while I taught the sheep some random gestures since she was surprisingly smart.

"Now for when you're hungry.... hmmm just tap on me twice with your hoof kay?" I told the sheep which made her nod in response to my order. I smiled slightly just before I heard a loud rumble coming up the hill towards the gate. 

And there were the contestants. All of them had a huge dead pig with them as the tried to push others to get through the gate first.

My face shifted into one of disgust as I noticed most of these people were smelly and sweaty.

"Gross..." I mumbled under my breath.

I was looking over the group for Gon and the others when I suddenly made eye contact with Gon's bright amber eyes.

He grinned widely and started to jog over to me, carrying a huge dead pig on his back.

A grimaced expression made it's way onto my face when Gon dropped the pig right in front of where I was sitting.

"Y/n!" He called at the with with his wide smile as he pointed over to the pig proudly. "This is my first time catching a carna- carnivar- uhm." "Carnivorous?" I corrected the green haired boy in a questioning tone which made him light up and nod vigorously. "Yeah! A carnivorous pig!" He finished up his sentence as I raised a brow and glanced over at the dead animal.

'That pig is carnivorous?'

I hummed and shrugged before standing up and brushing the dirt off of my shorts. I leaned down and picked up the sheep and picked off some grass that got stuck in her wool before I placed her on my shoulder for a change of scenery. She didn't really care though as she laid right back down again as she landed on my shoulder.

I heard a loud thud followed by two more which made me jump slightly at the unexpected noise. I turned around to see that Kurapika, Leorio, and Killua had all also dropped a dead pig next to me. How wonderful.

Kurapika looked over at me with a confused expression. 

"You didn't get a pig Y/n?" He asked me which caused me to shake my head side to side in response.

"No, I already passed while you guys were getting the pigs."

Leorio's jaw dropped while Kurapika had is eye brows raised in amusement and surprise. "Woah!" Gon yelled out in an awed tone while Killua had the same expression as Kurapika. "You already passed?! That's so cool!" Gon said happily as he grabbed my shoulders and shook me back and fourth. 

My eyes turned into swirls as I started to get dizzy from Gon shaking me endlessly. That was until Kurapika spoke up to the boy, snapping himself out of his surprised state. "Gon, I think Y/n is getting dizzy. It'd be best to stop shaking her before she throws up." Kurapika spoke with a sweat drop running down the side of his forehead.

Gon oh'ed before he stopped shaking me. It took me a second to snap out of my dizzy trance since everything was spinning. That was until Killua bonked the top of my head with his fist and my eyes went back to normal.

'You know what. I feel like being dramatic right now.'

So that's what I did.

I whined and lifted both of my hands up to the part of my head the Killua hit and started to complain about how it hurt, and he hit me too hard, and that was mean, and how now I'm going to die because of this.

Killua scoffed and rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms. "I didn't even hit you that hard." He cut off some more of my complaining which made me frown before my mood did a complete 180° and I was now back to my normal unemotional self.
