Matt
The sets of siblings were now at the two lanes they had booked, one for a duo and one for a set of three. Matt was going to propose the idea of them splitting up into siblings but then realised that the whole point of today is to make friends with them, and besides, he already loves Aria and Ezra just from the car ride, so he doesn't mind.
"Me and Nick can go as the duo?" Ezra proposes, sitting on the booth against the wall just by the lane, Nick close by, sitting next to him. Luckily enough, they had booked the two lanes right at the end of the building, meaning they were by the wall, making Matt feel like they have more privacy. There's no transparent privacy screen in between the two lanes like normal, since they were all a part of the same party, so the staff had taken it down before they got there. There's a seating booth (like the one's in diners just excluding the table) for both lanes, facing each other, and behind the one located not on the wall, is a black wooden divider to separate their party from the party next to them, overall making them all feel like they're in their own little room. The bowling ball dispenser sits in the middle of the two lanes, a foot or two back from them. A little wooden coffee table sits right behind it to hold food and drinks. In Matt's conclusion, it was the perfect little area.
"I don't mind, really," Ari replies, setting her bag down on the booth opposite Ezra, before sitting down herself, crossing one leg over the other.
"Neither." Matt sits beside her, sending her a warm look on his face, folding his arms as he looks at the rest of the group.
"Fuck that! Last time we played, Nick beat me, therefore, I need to be on the same lane as him so this time, I beat him," Chris explains, flailing his arms in triumph as he explains his plan. Ezra and Nick give each other a look, before both snorting at the boy, "Don't laugh at me. That makes me want to join your lane even more." Chris points a finger at them like a Mom, causing the two boys to start giggling faintly.
Matt and Aria scoff in amusement at the same time, accepting the fact that they are the duo, Matt doesn't mind. If anything, he's happy he's on a lane with the calmest one out of the other four, and they get along perfectly. Ignoring the rest of them, Ari takes out her camera.
She urges Matt to sit closer to her so she can get them both in shot. Matt follows her request, sitting close but not close enough to touch, he doesn't want to make her uncomfortable, they only just met. Pointing the camera at the two of them, she presses record, both of them making a 'no-lips' straight face, cheeks puffed out.
