It's been a few weeks since they made up, but Matt cannot help but feel like something is still missing.
He misses Arianna, a lot - he doesn't know how to describe it but he just needs to see her in person, he needs to see the way her eyes squint when she laughs in person, rather than on a screen, he's so over facetime.
If someone were to ask him, 'What is your favourite thing about Arianna Madden?', he wouldn't have an answer - since the answer is everything. Her hair, the way she laughs at silly little jokes, her magnetic eyes that he cannot stop staring into, her lips, the way her face lights up when she thinks of a new chord pattern for new music, her voice when she sings; just her.
A part of him has debated multiple times if she's performed one of those absurd little TikTok love spells on him, because the amount of times he thinks about her on a daily is insane. There's never even a break - she's always running around in his mind, shaking and scaring all other thoughts away to the point that she is the only thing he can think about.
He doesn't even know how Ria herself hasn't realised the feelings he is harbouring for her, his heart seems to fly out of his chest every single time they're in any sort of communication with each other.
These feelings have become his new normal, though.
