I'm only a call away.
That sentence has been sifting its way through her mind for the past week. He had said it to her last Friday night, and here we are again, another Friday night, spent reading comments and watching edits of Ezra, her, and the triplet's new videos.
Matt had stuck to his promise. For the past week, she could call or facetime him whenever she wanted, and he would always answer within the first few rings, he never kept her waiting for long. One time, Tuesday night if she remembers correctly, she rang him while he was sleeping, and he answered anyway. She didn't mean to wake him, forgetting about the 2-hour time difference, but he insisted on staying on facetime, and so they did just that; they talked and talked for the next few hours, until she fell asleep on the facetime. What shocked her even more was the fact that when she woke up, the facetime was still going, and she could hear Matt snoring, only the tip of his hair showing on camera.
So, you can't really blame her for having that fucking sentence showing up in her mind every five seconds.
To be brutally honest, she feels like she's wearing Matt out. She calls him so often, that she's scared one day he'll get up and leave. It's not like she always texts him first, and forcing the encounters, she knows that, the boy is practically obsessed with calling and texting her himself, a part of her is just worried. She'd be a liar if she said she didn't prefer talking to Matt compared to anyone else. He's also her first ever male-friend, and as much as she tries to act like it's a normal thing to prefer talking to a pretty and unbelievably caring boy over her childhood girl best friend, it's kind of shocked her.
She adores Matt.
She would very much throw herself in front of a train for the boy. He cares for her so much, always makes sure to double check on her if she as much as blinks in an 'off' way, and overall just brings out the best in her. For fucks sake, the boy has been begging her to release music every single day for the past week because he's so supportive of her, he truly only wants what's best for her. Even the fans have noticed how both her and Matt are extremely giddy lately because of each other.
Dare she say that Matt is her favourite person at the moment?
And as if he's not perfect enough already, he's also an incredibly beautiful man. It's not like she feels her heart race for a few minutes of every single one of their facetimes because he looks good, totally not! That only happens when she facetimes Chester!
Even with all of this evidence to point that Matt also admires her just as much back, she's just slightly scared. Men are unpredictable, and even though she hasn't had much experience with them, she wouldn't be surprised if she eventually bored Matt enough for him to leave.
