Was it bad that she was waiting for his message?

Surely not, right?

A part of her loves the facetimes she shares with Matt, he's always up to talk or just sit on face time while they both do their own thing on their phones. It's comforting knowing that he's there.

She's especially excited now, knowing that his message is probably to ask if she's open to facetime, and the answer to that is yes. Something about being on facetime with a friend while you're either packing or unpacking brings so much more joy to the situation. Another thing to get her excitement increasing is the fact that Sophie will be added to the call so they can persuade Matt into that true swiftie manner, and also because her two best friends will be talking for the first time, she hopes they get along.

Her face instantly brightens at the message, which, as a matter of fact, was Matt asking to facetime. She replies with a quick yes, putting her phone up against the makeup organiser on her desk. As soon as his call comes through, she accepts, smiling at the screen as Matt appears, sitting in his bed with a black hood over his head, she assumes it's a hoodie, his fluffy hair still covering his forehead.
