don't settle
for mediocrity
that's the problem
it might befeel guilty
for all the slack
that crept its way
onto my backbuzzing nights
sleepy days
once clear path
now foggy hazedoesn't spark and flutter
not anymore at least
grown numb and tired
felt and lived, it ceasedburnt out candle
puddle on a desk
ungodly ambitions
just let me rest
