After Shaurya left, Shaan entered the ward. There, he found Anokhi lost in her thoughts. Approaching her, Shaan took a seat on the stool.
"Anokhi beta abb tum kaisa feel kar rhi ho...???" he asked in a fatherly tone, filled with concern and love, breaking her chain of thoughts.
"Mai thik hu papa... Shaurya bhi gaye..???" She asked in a soft tone.
"Nhi... Woh tab tak nhi jayega jab tak tum Ghar nhi chalti..." he replied. Anokhi simply nodded, knowing that Shaurya's nature can be somewhat ambiguous.
Sometimes he cares too much...
And sometimes,
He doesn't care at all...
She couldn't figure out if he wears a double face or if it's just his nature to be rude at times and sweet and calm at other times.
"Aap kya ho shaurya... Koi kisi se pyaar aur nafrat ek hi waqt pe kese kar sakta h... Ye mohobbat hai ki kuch aur..."
"Mai jaane se pehle aapse apne sawaalo ke jawaab lekar hi jaungi..." She thought determingly in her mind.
"Anokhi beta tum aaraam karo mai doctor se tumhare discharge ke baare mai baat kar ke aata hu..." Saying this Shaan left the ward.
Within two minutes of Shaan's departure, Shaurya entered. Their gazes met, but she quickly averted her eyes. Silently, he approached her and took a seat beside her on the stool.
"Anokhi..." he called out to her.
She picked up her mobile phone from the side table and started scrolling through it, royally ignoring him and his presence. Just as he was about to say something, her phone rang.
"Kanchan bhabhi..." She read the caller ID.
Picking up the call she said -
"Hello bhabhi..."
"Anokhi kesi ho tum... Kya ho gaya tumhe achanak... Aastha Tai ji ne jab kaha ki tumhari tabiyat theek nhi hai toh mai bohot ghabra gayi..." Her concern was genuine.
"Bhabhi mai thik hu... Aap kesi hai aur Meri Mimi kesi hai ...???" Asked anokhi craving to hear her baby girl's voice.
"Mai thik hu aur mimi aayansh ke saath khel Rahi h... Tum fikr mat kro... Uska yaha mann laga hua h..." Kanchan assured anokhi with her words.
"Lekin anokhi achanak tumhari tabiyat itni kharab kese ho gayi...???" She asked once again.
"Woh bhabhi kuch nhi hua h... Weakness ho gayi thi thodi..."
"Anokhi tum kaho toh mai Yash ko bhej du... Agar koi help lag rhi ho..." Said kanchan.
"Nhi bhabhi yaha sab h mera dhyaan rakhne ke liye..."
"Thike... Tum acche se Khao piyo aur haan tension mat lo... Mimi meri bhi beti hi h ... Mai khud mimi ko chodne aaungi jab tum kahogi aur fir bohot time ho sab se milke...." Said kanchan.
"Bhabhi mujhe shona se baat karni h..." Anokhi said over the phone.
"Haa anokhi... Ruko mai bulati hu..." Said kanchan.
