prologue

You have arranged a news interview after many people started protesting for yourself to run so you decided now is the time to announce your run and campaign, after a few hours the press had everything set up in your office, you were sitting down waiting for them to finish the lighting and once they did one of them spoke up

Man: going live in three...two...one"

The light on the cameras then turned red and you began to speak

y/n: hello america...many of you have been asking me to run for president of the united states and i am here today to report that i am officially running for office as a republican. Together i truly believe we can make america better for the american people"

You talked about a few other topics but soon after the press meeting was concluded, when the room was empty you sat back in your chair and sighed. You had a lot of work to do

A month had passed since you announced your running for office and already you had more than enough donations and endorsements to run a full campaign, you had even won the republican nomination in a landslide victory and today was your first rally, you were currently preparing topics to talk about an speeches to make, once finished you grabbed the papers and walked out of the lower backstage room, as you did the many people on the bleachers and chairs started to clap and cheer

You smile and wave at all of the crowd, you then step up to the podium in the center of the rally, you set your papers down and look up at everyone as you speak into the microphone

y/n: how are we all doing today?"

Everyone once more cheered, you then laughed and nod your head

y/n: i want to start by thanking everyone who showed up today and to every single person who donated to this campaign, im happy to have such a great crowd backing me in this run, i couldn't ask for better"

And once again the crowd went wild, they waved y/n's campaign flags and signs, you waited for everyone to calm down and once they did you spoke once again

y/n: now, i want to take this time to explain exactly what I plan to do as president...let's start with today's economy...as you all know it's not the best right now. People are unemployed and can't find work. Our currency is becoming a distant memory and we are in trillions worth of debt. My answer for jobs is this; our infrastructure is a mess so I will order all of these bridges, roads and buildings to be repaired, thus providing jobs. How are we going to pay for this you may ask? That is simple too. make the governors put their tax dollars to work and i will be using my presidential salary to help pay for these projects as well"

You took a breath before continuing

y/n: Now let's move on to our currency; I will sign an executive order that makes federal banks stop all printing operations, and for the last few years I have been mining hard currency. Gold. silver. You name it, I've mined it. Once I am president all of these valuables will immediately be added to our treasury and therefore backing out currency. Let me be clear, i am not abolishing the federal reserve"

y/n then move the papers so his next topic was on top

y/n: as for health care, i am staring l/n care, some people will still have to pay but it will be based off of how much you make, i you cant afford it then it will be free, if you can afford some of it then it will pay the difference, if you can afford medical bills then you will not qualify for it"

The crowd blew once more now that they will finally get the help they need, even people who were watching from home were yelling in approval, you went on about more topics and made speeches but after a few hours you finished

You then walked away while waving goodbye to everyone until you disappeared from sight, you checked twitter and your approval numbers and saw that they had skyrocketed in positive opinions

you made your supporters have true hope in a better america and you were winning this election.
