While Alex had to admit that she had fun on dare night running around with AJ fulfilling the dares set by Felix, she wasn't about to admit that she had warmed up to the newcomer since she was still wary of him and what he wanted with their small little group of friends. " hey she Scott, what do you think of these? Aren't they awesome?" Brooke said showing Alex one of the flyers from the pile that Peyton had been carrying as Alex turned away from her locker for a moment while holding the books she needed for upcoming classes
" considering I'm the one that made them and it's my art that's on the flyers then I'm going with yes" Alex said knowing she was very familiar with the flyers since she had been true to her word when she had told Peyton that she would help her as much as she could
" well if you ask me, this club night is gonna rule!" Brooke said reminding them all that Brooke Davis is always up for a party causing the other two girls laugh since saying Brooke was in the mood for a party was stating the obvious like saying the sky was blue
" Not according to the jerk at the record store" Peyton said thinking about the music geek she had met at the record store that morning while hanging up some flyers before school started as her annoyance and a little doubt began to show on her face
" say the word and I'll happily go punch anyone that says anything against this" Alex said as she looked at the flyer knowing it was a combination of efforts from her mom and from Peyton since her mom was acting as the responsible adult behind Peyton's idea
" for someone so little, you are very fierce. Who are you punching now?" AJ said as he came up behind his girlfriend as he showed that he'd heard the tail end of her conversation as he wrapped his arms around her waist as Brooke and Peyton smile while leaving
" just some guy being a little negative about the all ages night that Peyton's holding at my mom's new club" Alex said as she felt herself sink a little deeper into the strong chest behind her as once again felt the chaos in her head quieten a little by his presence
