Alex did what AJ said and stayed the night as she called her uncle to stay that she was staying with Haley for the night after calling Haley to ask her to cover for her in case anyone asked where she was. Since she didn't have anything to change into AJ gave her one of his T-shirt's to get changed into for the night so she didn't need to wear her clothes to be bed and be uncomfortable. Once she was dressed, her and AJ got into bed as they talked about everything that had happened at the game that night and speculated about what would happen as a result since they knew better than to think that Whitey would just sweep if under the rug. Eventually both AJ and Alex fell asleep in each other's arms to wake up the next morning to find themselves intertwined together as they slowly began to wake up after hearing the front door slam. AJ woke up slightly before Alex as he looked down at the blonde girl in his arms as he gently swept the fallen blonde hair from her face as he marvelled at how beauty she was but also innocent and carefree she looked while sleeping

" hey..." Alex said with a voice still heavy with sleep as she rubbed her eyes and looked to see that AJ was staring at her as he leaned on his arm laying next to her as he wondered how she could look so perfect
" hey back... oh god, is it morning already?" Alex said as she groaned rubbing her eyes a little before snuggling closer to him as she tried to bury her head into his shoulder making him laugh softly
" unfortunately but we've still got some time before we need to head to school" AJ said as he began to run his hand through her hair and play with her messy dark blonde waves as he checked the time
" I need to head home and grab some clothes... do you think if we just stayed here all day that the world would just stop and leave us alone?" Alex said thinking about recent events that had happened
" probably not, one of your brother would probably kick the door in fear that I had stolen your innocence" AJ said as he tickled her a little making them both laugh, knowing she needed it right now
" unlike your brother who is probably thinking god knows what about me right now. Urgh and I actually like Eric too" Alex said groaning a little as she wondered what he had thought about her staying the night
" I talked to Eric last night, when you were getting changed last night. He was fine with you staying last after what happened at the hospital and he knows nothing happened" AJ said trying to reassure her
" and you're still cool with us not... you know?" Alex said sitting up at little as she tried to make herself more comfortable as she thought about the last time that they talked about them having sex soon
" this...us isn't about sex for me. It'll happen when we both want it to and when it does, I'll make sure that it's special" AJ said as he gently stroked her face, knowing that she deserved the very best
