The day after Karen left for Italy, the twins were getting for school while trying to use to the fact that Keith was now their guardian as he tried to make sure that they were ready and had everything they needed like an overbearing mother while they were used to doing their own thing in the morning since their mom tended to just leave them to it. Alex separate from Lucas as most as soon as they got into school that morning as the events of Saturday night was still running through her head as she thought about what could have happened if Brooke and Peyton didn't find her in time or hadn't called Nathan to look after her which is where first point of call before classes started was to head to the table that Peyton and Brooke were currently hanging out at.

" hey, how you feeling?" Peyton said as soon as she noticed that Alex was heading their way as they knew how bad things had gotten for her as a result of them taking her to that college party that night
" better, turns out that a day of laying in bed and watching movies is the right way to get over a night like Saturday" Alex said with a nervous chuckle as she sat down with Peyton and Brooke as they talked
" I'm really sorry about taking you there" Brooke said feeling bad about what happened to her as she had only meant to ask her out so that they could get to know her better and maybe be friends with her
" its not your fault. It's not like you told the guy to roofie me or anything but next time you want to hang with me, maybe we could just go to the movies or something" Alex said with a smile as she spoke
" oh so there'll be a next time, huh?" Peyton said smirking since she could see herself actually liking the female blonde Scott as she could tell that they were a lot alike in some aspects like their attitude
" definitely, something tells me that we're going to be seeing more of each other so I might get to know and like you both" Alex said shrugging as she thought about it all as she saw Nathan and AJ approaching them
" and something tells me that you're wanting elsewhere" Brooke said with a smirk as she looked at the two dark haired boys that were currently eyeing Alex up as they tried to think of a way of talking to her
" I should go before they come and drag me away... hey, how's your punching hand?" Alex said as she joined AJ and Nathan as they walked into school as AJ brought her to his side for a side hug
" A lot better now that I nailed a guy's face and I think we're lucky that they aren't still punching the dude that roofied you. Anyway how 'bout you? How are you feeling?" Nathan said worrying about her
" I'm okay, just wondering how I could let that happen to myself you know" Alex said blaming herself as she thought about how she should have been able to see and tell what Gabe was planning to do
" hey, don't do that to yourself. It's not your fault that the guy was a total creep" AJ said trying to comfort her and reassure her that nothing that had happened on Saturday was her fault or doing
