As much as it annoyed the three Scott siblings, Whitey's plan of forcing them to work together as the team that he wanted them to be while out on the court seemed to have worked in terms of easing some of the tension between them all especially Lucas and Nathan who had come to a silent agreement of having no more open hostility like they had been lately. While they weren't best buds or anything, they had come to some sort of understanding about things in a way since Nathan's words about fighting the same person he did everyday at home instead of him still rung loud and clear in both the twins ears. At school the twins were sitting at a table outside as Lucas read a book while listening music and Alex sat beside him as she worked on one of her drawings while also listening to music when they were approached by Brooke, Peyton and AJ as Alex resisted the urge to roll her eyes at Brooke and Peyton who were so obviously interested in her brother.

" Hey broody, broody's sister" Brooke said as she approached the table that they were sitting causing Alex and Lucas to look at Brooke and Peyton as Alex rolled her eyes at the way she was flirting
" hey slutty, emo bitch... AJ" Alex said with an edge to her voice as AJ chuckled her obvious attitude that he had become fallen for as he sat down beside her as he watched for their reactions to her comments
" So, I'll see you at practice" Brooke said intentionally ignoring Alex's comments as she gave her a pointed look before looking back at Lucas as she thought about how much she wanted to be with him
" As always" Peyton said that despite the fact that she didn't necessary fit the cheerleader stereotype or agree with the cheerleader way of life but did it because her mother was a cheerleader in high school
" Yeah, you too" Brooke said making it clear that she was talking to Lucas and not Peyton before walking away as Peyton sat down at the same table as the others as Alex began to pack her things away
" So, what's the deal? Are we gonna hang out at this annual Scott money burn or what?" Peyton said causing the twins to give each other a look due to the fact that this whole party thing involved Dan Scott
" and on note I'm out of here but I'll see you at practice, twin" Alex said as she swung her green backpack over her shoulder before she began to walk way with AJ following behind her as she did so
" so I'm assuming by the fact that you just cut and ran there that you don't want to go to thing tomorrow night?" AJ said as he caught up to her as he was hoping that he would be able to convince her
" I'd think I'd rather gouge my eyes than spend a night in Dan Scott's house. No, I plan to eat my weight in ice cream and watch my favourite movies" Alex said as she thought about how bad it'd be
" really? Come on, it might be fun. You know to see Dan Scott in his natural habitat, just thinking about the amount of mocking and sarcastic comments you could do" AJ said trying to encourage her to come
