"Why would you want me to do that?"
"I am hoping you can survive on my blood long enough to sail across the Atlantic?"
"That image of me being staked is still haunting you, is it not?" He nodded.
"All right. Let us try it but we will wait until I need to feed." I thought for a moment. "What if your blood makes me sleep?"
"Well we will find out, will we not?" I nodded.
Cassie and Quinn walked in with their great grandparents, Liam and Lizzy.
"Welcome back Grandpa, Grandma." Paddy went to greet them. "What brings you back so soon?"
"Elder Camarillo and the rest of the Elders held a quick meeting outside the city in regards to the Senor Rileys. Elder Camarillo did not want the Council and the Guard to have to shoulder the burden of taking care of them so we offered to watch them until they are to be executed." Liam told us.
"Excellent." Paddy said. We hugged them. "Have you told Mom and Dad yet?"
"They were out when we went by their quarters."
"That is right. They went to Cory's quarters for dinner."
Cassie and I went and started our dinner. It was not long before we were sitting at the table eating.
"Just to let you know the Council has decided to move to the Southern region across the Atlantic."
"They have finally decided." Liam shook his head.
"Yes they have commissioned the shipyard to build a ship for our journey."
"They are serious this time."
"Yes the way are registry is growing. We need more space."
"That means we will be closer to Theo." Lizzy whispered.
"Yes Dear." Liam smiled. "What is the time frame for the shipbuilding?"
"They said it will take a year and a half to build."
"Good. That will give us time to tell the rest of the Elders about the move." Liam told us.
Cassie looked a little sad. "Why the sad face Cassie?" Lizzy asked.
"Samuel does not know about the move yet. I do not know if he will want to be that far away from his family?"
"Cassie he will be given the same choice as the rest of us." Paddy told his daughter.
"Choice?" Lizzy asked.
"The Council gave each of us the choice if we wanted to stay here or go with them?"
"They gave all of you the choice?" Liam pointed at us.
"Yes all of us Grandpa."
"That was generous of them."
"I do not think they wanted to force anyone to go." Quinn said.
"You had that feeling too." Cassie said nodding.
"A lot of us like London. This is our home."
