"Well there is only one thing to do. Bring Katey to my place. She just became my new cook."
"How long is she staying?"
"A fortnight."
"Ya just put in your notice." Margaret smiled.
"Thank you Margaret." Katey hugged her.
"All right you start bright and early tomorrow morning."
"Um Margaret. I might have to start tonight. It has to look like I have been there a long time."
"Aye come on. I will show you around."
They left together. Jules walked over to us. "Where is Margaret taking my wife?"
"To her temporary place of employment." I said.
"What?"
"She is going to work for Margaret while Kelly is here."
"I see. Katey has told her that she worked for a large boarding house." He told us.
"She would not be lying. Margaret's is the largest boarding house in London." Paddy said.
Jules smiled. "That it is." He turned to the McCurdys. "Those three," he nodded towards them, "feel like I have known them all my life. It is strange how comfortable I am around them."
"How comfortable are you Jules?"
"Well Paddy. I think it might be wise for them to see who we really are. Katey wants to bring them with us when we leave."
"Let me know how it goes? If they do not have a problem with it. We will introduce the rest of the Guard."
"All right Paddy."
Samantha and Rachelle walked into the kitchen.
"Kylie there you are? We have some information for you." Samantha indicated the McCurdys.
"All right. Let us go to my quarters."
We brought them to our quarters. We sat down in our common room.
"It is been quiet the last few nights at the Pub. We have been talking to Maggie and Bart. They have been telling us about their former helpers. It seems that they are related. They are their aunt and uncle from their father's side." Rachelle was saying.
"And they do not believe he killed her. He had been at the Pub helping out the night she died."
"Oh?"
"Yah when he came home. He tried to wake her. She was covered in blood. A neighbour stopped in to see what all the yelling was about. The neighbour was a witness at his trial. He literally sent him to the gallows."
"Do you have a name of this neighbour?"
"Maggie did not say." Samantha said.
"It will be in the court records Kylie." Paddy told me. I nodded.
