It's been 2 months since Vegas, and Carlie was standing in her bathroom. She has spent the last forty five minutes puking her guts out.She was waiting for a pregnancy test result.
*Ping*
She turned off the timer on her phone, and picked up the test.
"Oh crap, I'm pregnant." She whispered
She went downstairs, she made herself some coffee and breakfast as she turned on the tv. She stopped when she saw Bucky on her screen. He was being interviewed cause his engineering company was building the new children's hospital in Manhattan.
"Oh my god..I can find him." She whispered
After she ate a little breakfast she got herself ready for the day. She made her way to his office building.
"Hi, I'm here to see James Barnes IV." Carlie said
"Do you have an appointment?" The receptionist said
"No, just tell him Carlie Mason is here. He knows me and it's urgent that I speak with him." Carlie said
"Give me just a moment." The receptionist said
She called upstairs to Bucky's personal assistant, she stepped into the conference room where Bucky was holding a meeting.
"um sorry to interrupt Mr Barnes." She said as she walked over to him.
She leaned in his room. "The lobby called there is Carlie Mason downstairs requesting to speak with you. She said it is urgent." She whispered
A smile so wide stretched across his face, and he asked the gentlemen in the room if they could cut the meeting short and reschedule for another day. Bucky used his private elevator to go down to the main lobby.
"Carlie?" He said
She lit up, as they ran to each other and kissed. "God I've missed you. Where have you been?" He whispered
"In Manhattan." She said as the crew stepped off the elevator.
"Lisa anytime she comes in send her straight up." He said to the lobby receptionist.
They went up to his office, "I'm so glad that I turned on my tv this morning. I've been trying to find you." She said
"I've been trying to find you." He said as he held her waist.
"James, I'm pregnant and the baby is yours. I haven't been with anyone since Vegas. All I've been able to think about is you." She said
"You're pregnant. Oh my god this is amazing. I haven't stopped thinking about you." He said
She smiled, Bucky told his assistant to cancel everything the rest of the week. They left in her car since he didn't drive that morning. They went to their favorite diner for lunch The Empire Diner, and then went to her place where they made love all night.
