A week later,
Bucky invited Carlie to attend Sunday Dinner with him at his paternal grandparents.
"They are going to love you." He said as they walked up the door.
Louise Barnes answered the door, "Oh my favorite grandson is here." She said
"Oh, Gigi you stop." He said as he hugged and kissed her cheek.
"Who is this beauty queen? My heavens." Louise said
"Carlie Mason my girlfriend. Carlie this is my paternal grandmother Louise." He said
"Nice to meet you Mrs Barnes." Carlie said
"Oh honey no need to be formal everyone around here calls me Gigi or Lou Lou." Louise said
"Love of my life is what I call her." James Sr said as he came down the hall.
"This is my paternal grandfather James Sr Carlie." Bucky said
"You always do manage to catch a beauty queen, it's a curse my grandson us Barnes men have to beat them off." James Sr said
"It's a pleasure to meet you." Carlie said
"Come on let's take you to meet everyone else. And paps you look good old man." Bucky said as they walked by.
Bucky introduced her to his parents James and Winnie, and his siblings. The whole family loved her, and was even more excited about the baby news.
The following weekend was just as successful when it came to her family at her paternal grandparents wedding anniversary party.
