...

A week had passed already, a week in which they had forgotten how ro communicate.

Chan had been pushing him away again and Minho could do nothing but notice in silence; they weren't friends, and there was nothing to complain or talk about.

Now while Minho counted their tips in silence and Chan broomed the place, Minho's stomach hadn't been able to calm down even for a bit.

He didn't know when they stepped two feet behind.

They had been okay, they had been able to talk to each other and now they hadn't even crossed eyes once.

When he placed the last bill on the counter after dividing the tips, a shadow towered him that made him look up.

Chan stood there with his familiar awkward smile.

"Hey... Uhm. Hannah has been begging me to let her see you." He started, Minho's eyes immediately gluing to him with hope. "She has her kindergarten graduation this week and she asked me if you could go."

Minho's lips opened enough to let a breath go. He pointed at himself as incredulity painted his face.

"Me? Why me?" He asked when he recovered his voice.

Chan shrugged.

"She likes people really quick and she grew fond of you ever since that day" Chan said, sitting down in front of Minho.

Minho tossed the money to him as he nodded, a wide thin smile in his lips he had not been able to hide.

"Oh, I would- I would really love to go" he said, now his smile widening showing. "Kindergarten graduation... She's so big now. When's it?"

Chan nodded with a wide smile, crossing his arms in front of him while looking up. If he didn't know Hannah was his little sister he could've assume Hannah was his daughter.

He seemed like a proud dad in that moment that he chuckled a laugh.

"She's so big indeed! I still remember her first day of school..." He said, sighing and shaking his head. "It's next week, Saturday during the morning. Can you go?"

Minho nodded like crazy, not being able to hide his excitement even when he looked down to the counter.

Chan smiled widely, nodding and taking his money to his pocket.

"Great. I'll pick you up then. Be ready around..." He started thinking, a pout appearing on his mouth that when Minho looked up, he couldn't help but find it extremely adorable. "Maybe eight in the morning. I'll pick you up at eight thirty."

Minho nodded, his cheeks bright on red with his heart running an errand around his chest.

"Okay"

...

Saturday had come and he couldn't help but be ready at seven.

He looked at the mirror once again, fixing his hair and the black hat he had chosen for the day: a black boina that sat perfectly on his hair.

He then turned around to pick up the gift he had chosen for the little Hannah, a lego set of a beautiful flower and some stickers of different animals he had bought some years ago and hadn't been able to choose where to put them yet, so now he decided it was time to give them to someone else who would appreciate them.
