Alaskan Skies

I wish I could sever the world with resilience.

Cut it clean in half with my rage.

I wish I could shake the stars with my anger.

Bring them down into craters.

I wish the world would listen when I spoke.

Gravity curled beneath my body.

I wish someone heard my tears.

And cared not to leave me alone.

Down beneath these Alaskan skies,

Where no one will ever know who you are.

I breath the air of winter cold,

Till my heart is frozen, and to the devil it's sold.
