Free the Wild!

Clouds laugh while fingers entwine,

There's a rush when love is blind,

Hearts pour out with honey,

And eyes too kind

Lavender-sweet trees,

And dew-drop tears,

The moon soaks it all up,

Terror and fear

The air is cool

With cherry taffy and rose wine,

Birds are chirping

This place is mine.

-

Dirty toes, dancing on wild grass

Hair that tangles with rain

Some call them wickedly strange,

Impossible to tame

But oh, how they love nature's games!

They tiptoe in starlight,

Feed strawberry milk to weeds

All will be delishisly right,

When their wild wings are free!
