i met someone new
and to be honest he reminds me of you
he reminds me of the way you never bought me anything
because everyday he asks if i want something when he goes out to eat
he reminds me of the way you cheated on me
because he can't even look at other women without feeling weird.
he reminds me of the way you didn't let me meet your parents
because he had me meet them two weeks in.
he reminds me of how you never wanted to call
because he calls every moment he's free.
he reminds me of your anger
because he never gets truly mad at me.
he reminds me of you
simply because he is everything you were never capable of.
