you act like you give a fuck
about the children who are stuck
living in a constant state of limbo
wondering if life will give them a window
a way to see outside of their dark homes
to see where their souls can roam
but you boarded up their windows
and quieted your ringtones
so you couldnt hear their screams and calls
so you can live your life without a fallturn on your ringtone
face the unimaginable scenarios
that these children face each day
and somehow they never seem to sway
you're fucking cowards
leaving them to be devoured
