I joined AJ and Niko in the living room, flipping over on one of the sofas.
"Are you coming to the shoot tomorrow?" AJ asks
"Yeah, sure." I reply still slightly dazed after my date with Sharky.
"Are you sure? Sharkys gonna be there." He looks at me strangely.
"Honestly I don't care." I lie. I do care, a lot, but not for the reasons they think. "He's the one who has a problem with me." It's a total lie but they have no clue.
"So what did you do tonight?" Niko asked me
"Oh I just checked out this fair." I said
"Wasn't Sharky at a fair?" AJ asked
"How would I know? I didn't see him and if I did I didn't recognise him." I almost laugh at my response - as if I wouldn't recognise his handsome face and gorgeous smile.
"Fair enough, there are loads of fairs around London. Maybe we should all go to one, we can invite Darkest and Chunkz." Niko says enthusiastically
I feel bad when I open my mouth but I'm not about to double book myself. "I actually have plans tomorrow."
"With who?" AJ asks suspicious
"Myself"
I shoot back hating that my cousin knows me so well, I don't like the lying but like I said I loved having Sharky as my secret, plus I didn't want to risk making it awkward between AJ and Sharky not that there was much risk.
"Since when did you go out by yourself all time?"
"I've always been a free soul." I shrug.
"I distinctly remember you never being alone as a kid."
"Well things can change." I huff knowing that he's right.
