Penny woke up, hyperventilating. What the fuck had just happened. She had died?..with her friends. Her friends... They were gone now. And for what? Just so she could come back. No. Why would they do that for her? She didn't deserve it. It shouldn't have been her. And Ricky. Oh Ricky... He was gone. No... Penny hadn't realised it until now, maybe she just didn't remember it before, as 'Jane', but she loved Ricky. She was in love with Ricky. He had conceded, no way for him to come back. She wished she could tell him how much she appreciated him. He'd always cheer her up, whether he knew it or not. She didn't know what to do now he was gone. She had no purpose anymore.
She was nothing without them.
