The day Lacy found out what happened, was the day her whole world broke. She couldn't believe it. She didnt want to believe it. Why did it have to happen?.. Why was the universe so cruel to take her son from her. She felt bad. One if the last things she had said to him... "try to tone it down. Fit in" She regretted those words. But it's all she'd ever known as well. She had to 'fit in.' She hoped that she had been a good mother. That's all she'd ever wanted. What would Noel want her to do now?.. She couldn't be sure. But she knew one thing. She was going to keep his memory alive. And learn a few lessons from him. Fitting in was boring. And she wasn't going to do it anymore.
What Lacy didn't know, was Noel was smiling down at her. He was proud that she was doing this.
